I have a question:

So I just moved in to my new apartment and we get
free internet through the complex,
and we don't have a router.
Now I have an old 20GB PS3 and
I've tried looking for a way to connect My PS3 to my Mac Book Pro via Ethernet cable and go online that way.
and I can't seem to get anything to work.
Any ideas

You should
probably check
the network connections
as well as the settings
on your PS3.

you'll need to setup the network via the ps3. go to network connections and set one up. it should detect the wifi signal and if its not secured, you'll be able to connect right away.

Yeah, I saw this in the PS3 thread. I don't have clue so I didn't post.

Sorry.

unless you're able to just get internet access with a hardline? wireless sucks for gaming and such.
