I caught a really bad infection from this site...totally hijacked my system. If I tried to do a search, it kept redirecting me to go google, or go yahoo - but more importantly, I could not access my security, or download new security/spyware programs. Finally I found out what it was - a TDSS/trojan file. Disabled that (found: control panel>system>hardware>device manager>view>show hidden devices) - I found the TDSS file under 'non-plug and play devices', and disabled it. I was told to disable it, not delete it, because if you delete it, it will just reinstall later.

After I disabled it, I could finally access my Norton/Symantec, and Spybot, and Malwarebytes. I updated all, ran all (several times) and they rooted out all sorts of crap. I also ran DrWeb CureIt! - which found more TDSS files (and cured or deleted them - not sure if they'll come back). That was the last one I ran (twice), and ever since, my computer is all back to normal.

Whatever it was, it only got into my home computer, but didn't get to my office computer, which has a different security program. Still, I'm running scans all the time now, especially after visiting here.
