Not crazy about the costume at all. And as someone else said IMO Cap and a gun just don't go together.

What if the gun were holstered? Would that make any difference?

Right now, the only other Cap I would consider is an action Cap that would go with action Perez Beast, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Thor...

I think you have the makings of a good Avenger action display and Avengers museum display, so conversely, I'd buy a Hawkeye museum as well, a scarlet witch action... you get the idea.

For the record, I would not buy serial Cap. Black and white, maybe. If your gonna take the wings off, why not make an Ultimate version instead? That would sell better.

marvel has so far said there not bringing steve rodgers back. so if bucky is going to be captain america from now on, then i think you should defintly make one. you would have no problem selling it. it may not be for everyone but there still would be enough interest out there

Same here, I would politely pass as well. I don't like this Alex Ross costume design at all, and I'm a Steve Rogers as Cap fan, period.

Randy, you need to keep the gun visible! I suspect the people who don't like it simply don't read the current comic book series and only have Steve Rogers in their minds. People need to realize that the gun, knives and such are part of this character. This is not Steve Rogers, so the modern Captain America state should reflect that, IMO.

By the way, I would love to have both a modern Captain America and Winter Soldier statues. :)

Nah. No one would assume he always has the gun out just because that statue does. That's like saying the Vision is always phasing. I'm just saying that the gun underscores the fact that this character is not Steve Rogers. :) I like the gun out, basically. LOL

Also I've been a CC member for a almost a year now. Didn't go for dino boy, and blue quicksilver went so fast couldn't get one. if you make CC exclusives of these please at least make it 500

One of the things I have always respected about Bowen Designs is that most of the statues represent time-tested characters and designs. It is rare you see a Bowen statue that is a modern variation of a classic character. I know we have been seeing more of this lately.

This costume may not stand the test of time. It may be the equivalent of electric blue Superman. Heck, it may be gone by the time the statue even comes out. It may be a flash in the pan.

I'd prefer the B&W versions listed here (especially the one without the wings and shield) or the ultimate WW2 version.

I know there are a lot of Winter Soldier fans out there, so it makes sense to make him. But he is a rip-off of Nomad, especially the 90's version. What I personally would like to see would be a CC exclusive yellow and blue Nomad. I think the Bucky FS could be transformed into Nomad fairly easily, and you should have no problem selling 200-500 of those. Then make Winter Soldier if you must.

He's not Captain America. Steve Rogers will return as the true one and only Captain America. The take that stupid Alex Ross costume remove the A from the cowl and give it to US Agent. Put Bucky back in amodern version of his original costume. I hope when Marvel Production's go to cast for the Captain America movie. There is only one person in the entertaiment world that could play the part of Captain America, and that's WWE's JOHN CENA he has the size, he has the personality and physical ability to do the job.

True. One of the reasons I'm buying the Bucky statue is because Jack Monroe wore that costume for a number of issues before becoming Nomad. But in the 90's he became the long-haired trench coat wearing Nomad that the Winter Soldier just happens to be fairly reminiscent of. And I wouldn't say he was a cheap knock-off. Bucky was dead after all, and Jack Monroe's story was pretty interesting, if you read Cap 281 and 282. I just happened to really like the 90's Nomad storyline with Jack Monroe having to take care of a baby. Originality points to Fabien Niceaza. Of course the book went nowhere and Jack Monroe eventually ended up being murdered by the Winter Soldier.

In other ways I can also be liberal: I would get a cap with the full blown chain mail upper body. I also like the ultimate Cap w/ utility belt/pouches and army boots.

wow. I just googled their flag and you are right. The suit reminds me alot of their flag.
