Before we start, thanks very much for all your sculpts!
I am a firm believer in supporting my LCS. I have known the owner of my LCS for a long time and have gotten almost all of my Bowens from him. Recently the Loki statue I ordered from him (from Diamond) was not to be because of the allocation from Diamond.
My question is this: Is there a way to post the edition size on your web site when the statue is first put up for sale? This would help me decide whether to order from my LCS or if it is limited to around 1200 pieces or less I should order direct from Bowen Designs.
Again, I would prefer to order from my LCS if possible. Thanks very much for your time.

120+ FS and counting
ps. the owner of my LCS called around and found me a Loki FS from a store in a different state and picked it up at the Baltimore Showfor me (one reason I like to support him)

I admire the fact that you're supporting your local comic shop. Unfortunately, we're unable to post the edition size in advance, unless it's an exclusive item.
Anytime an item is offered through Diamond the edition size is only finalized after we receive Diamonds numbers. Diamond is the final , and largest group that we sell to (per item).
Here's how it works: When we produce an item our factories usually require we produce a minimum of 1000 units.
We sometimes initially produce more if we feel that the character or sculpt is strong enough. Once we receive Diamonds final numbers, that's when we set the final edition. Frequently, we're unable to add to an existing order because there isn't time.
Diamond has a policy in place that makes items (that are delivered late) returnable. In other words: Let's say we produce 1000 units initially. Other retailers and distributors order 500. Then Diamond comes in with an order of an additional 600 pieces. Sometimes we're unable to get all the pieces produced in time, so we have to settle on a lower number to meet the deadline. If we're late in producing these, that means Diamond can cancel their orders with us.

Hello Randy, where is Sideshow in the picture? I order from Sideshow now since I live in Canada. It seems to me that Sideshow ships Bowen stuff on time for me
