View Full Version : Apocalypse's interchangeable arms?

I'm in the market for the Apocalypse statue and wanted to ask anyone who ownes one how the arms work. My friend said that he thought they were held on by magnets. If magnets keep them attached couldn't you easily bumb it and have the arm fall off? Any help would be appreciated.

no magnets they are just notched peg on the statue hole on the hand and gun arm

The arms seem to be at the right angle that you don't have to worry about the hand or gun falling out unless you completely knock the statue over on the side. Mine has been on display ontop of my cabinet (too tall to put in with the others) and the gun arm has never moved.

Thanks for the help guys. Now to start the difficult task of finding one for a reasonable price.

agreed. This and Thor from last year was a tie for me for best statue.

This is one of the best pieces they've produced. And the after market price reflects this. You very rarely see one go for a low price/bid. good luck though, this piece is worth the effort.

I like it when Bowen includes the magnet; just feels more secure when it snaps on.

When I sold mine I actually forgot about the interchanable arm. hated to sell him But when money is short and Randy puts up a more disirable piece that's the end of it. My intentions are to collect The original Avengers, and the second team of Avengers. Everything is WIP wxcept no full size Wasp, Wull size original Wonder-Man, and the Swordsman. Ant-man is coming Goliath, is comingThe Angel is coming Marvel-Girl releases in January. Just wished their was going to be A beast statue FS in human form. That would make it perfect.
