These are the different option Randy is choosin from for Cap,..Please vote

my opinion:
Looking at the three choices here's my two cents.
first I love them all, but here's my consideration.
Shield on right arm- , This to me is a good choice. Contrary to what people think Cap held his shield in either arm. Yes he mostly used his left arm (not to mention iit is the correct arm to hold a shield) but again the right arm isn't wrong. and considering that it would make the new statue rather different from either Caps, it is a good choice.
Shield on his left arm- this choice may actually be the best choice, but, I agree with Randy that it is too similar to the original (first) BD Cap. No need to do that, especially if you don't have to. IMHO it would really take away from the original sculpt. It would be like bd saying let me do that Cap over but better this time.
Shield on back- now this may seems like the worst choice because it hides Caps biggest asset, but I actually think it is the best choice. The reason is that Cap wearing his shield on his back is a classic Cap thing to do in the comics. No other FS offers that option, so not only would it be very different from the others , it would also be very unique. Third, it actually looks cool (even if you don't see the shield).
so the winner is CAP with Shield on back.

Randy...over at SF you mentioned making a run of metallic Cap's. 200 of this, 300 of that. Is that your plan ? Guess everybody wins ( or bitches) this way.

Shield strapped to his back. That's one of the things I love about the mini-bust.
And you can buy display cases with mirrors in the back.

It's not stupid. That's just your opinion.
My vote is for the shield on the back. I agree it would be completely different and historically accurate. If I had one I would pick up an appropriatly sized piece of mirror and place it behind the statue or pick up a revolving base, which are definately available, and display him accordingly.

That's my take on it as well. And like I posted on statueforum:
I voted for the shield on his left arm. That's the one I'd get. I'm not a fan of the shield on his back. That's akin to Thor stuffing Mjolnir down the back of his cape.
That's why I'm looking forward so much to a new Cap bust with his shield prominently displayed on one of his arms.
That's the way I look at it. Unless you have a mirrored display case, you'll have to look at it from the sides to get a glimpse of the shield. And if you want the money shot, you have to turn Cap around so that he's backwards. That's not too appealing to me.
But I'm all for RB making the decision. It looks like he might offer more than one version, so that's cool for all parties.

Reminds of all the scenes where Cap is standing around with the rest of the Avengers at the Mansion...classic heroic pose and my choice!

There needs to be a reason for Cap to have the shield on his back.
How about arms folded, shield on back. Sorry, sounds like a new sculpt.

I see that right hand for Cap is still unplaced.... How about giving him a change-o-hand with one standard fist and one holding the American flag...? Just a thought.

Just put the shield in the left hand, which is the correct one. Not interested in the other style of shield and putting the shield on the back is no way to do a sculpt that's to be displayed. That's my main gripe about the MB, but with no arms, there was no choice.

I don't understand this one at all. We already got a museum Cap. What happened to the action pose?
I'd rather have Cap on a motorcycle with his shield on his back.

Shield on either arm. Doesn't make sense to me to own a Cap and not be able to see his shield while being displayed.

Round shield on back for me!
I think this choice is the best, classic pose and different from the other ones with shield on hand.
After that, we have the first new museum pose statue with shield on the right hand, and we can have this second museum pose metallic paint with shield on the back, and in the future the action pose with shield on the left hand.
With this solution we can cover all the choices in optimal way.
However,if this second museum pose will not have the shield on back, I'll skip it and I''l wait for the new action pose.

I usually have nothing bad to say about Bowen's statues, but I will be highly disappointed if the shield ends up on his back with this one. I really wanted the metallic blue in the first place and love the idea of his head being positioned differently. I just don't see how you can have a visually stunning item such as Cap's shield not being displayed on a statue? I really hope if the shield on back option is made, then one with round shield on left arm is made as well.

But, you see. Alot of us already have a cap showing his shield. So, one with it strapped to his back would be something different to have.

I do Al, I really do. I just don't see why I would spend money getting almost the exact same thing. I agree it looks awesome, but How many Caps am I gonna have in my collection?
I wouldn't buy it and I suspect most people who own the original wouldn't buy it either. especially in this economy; It's just too close.
Al seriously, don't you want some variety in you Cap statue collection?
Every piece Randy sculpts will be awesome so if he just keeps making that museum pose would you keep buying it?

Randy....Someone over at SF suggested having an unmasked version ( perhaps the shield on the arm variant). Could that be a possibility ? Metallic blue, unmasked, shield on the L-ARM........sweet !

Yes. I just want a glossy one. Wish he would just release the prototype version. No modifications=no wait. That prototype is all I need. Just paint him glossy already.
