And knowing Bucky was/is the Winter Solider.

I don't know the story,not read a comic in 3 yrs.

But a COH for this fs would ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer short hair, but COH would rock. If you haven't read the story, you should. Easily some of the best Cap stories ever.

you know how you can hang the M-16 on the back of the punisher statue, what if you could do that with his gun on his back and also replace it with cap's shield for the short hair COH + shield COA version

Shouldn't the long-hair version (as he originally appeared) also have the soviet red star on his shoulder?????

My opinion . . . since there are enough differences between how he originally appeared (long hair, rifle, soviet star on shoulder) vs. more current depictions (short hair, shield, shield emblem on shoulder), would probably be best to choose one over the other, and then perhaps a separte sculpt for the "second". I'm not necessarily in favor of too many variations of the same character (much less of the same sculpt), but in this case, I could see a split run (50/50), or perhaps 2:1 ratio of one vs. another.

By looking at the photos posted. Was NOT aware of that much of a diffrence.

One of the reasons I STOPPED reading comics--Marvel inperyicular is the darkness of the books. And I mean this in the actual colors used.

Life can be crap enough.....I DON"T need all the darkness!!!!!!!!
I would say all the pics posted are "dark" and the differences look minimal.

Im all for that (Id buy both), but a COH would make me happy as well. He also had a silver shield on his shoulder before it turned into Cap's shield, so anyone could do a quickie repaint if they wanted. But like I said, IM ALL FOR BOTH VERSIONS BEING MADE!!!!

I love the concept picture that Randy sneaked best. If I had my pick, I would have this first-appearance version of Winter Soldier (very mean and cool!) and the new Captain America versions done first.
