Hey Jim,

While I was at Barnes and Noble last night picking up the new edition of David Sedaris' Holidays on Ice, I saw a big stack of the Dark Tower: The Long Road Home hardcovers on one of the front tables, which I grabbed as well. I noticed they have an exclusive cover:

Apparently Amazon has their own exclusive cover, as well:

Both of which different from the standard version seen in comic book shops:

Just wondering how a deal like this comes about, what your involvement was (if any), and how many other versions there are.

Borders, B&N, Amazon, and other retail outlets have exclusve covers to books, DVD packaging (see: the Iron Man Target exclusive that I can't find because I there's not a Target near me. Sad). In this case, there are 4 covers to the HC. I actually had no hand in those. I don't deal with the negotiatinos of things relating to King-- I leave that to higher-ranking folk! LOL

I only hope that when I go to Nashville next weekend I will be able to swing by Target to get the uber-cool Mark III mask DVD...

Cool! Good luck tracking down the mask DVD packaging, I got it with the Blu-ray version. If you can't, let me know and I'll help you out.
