Sorry, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like it.

I could be wrong but didn't they bring back the V-shield because Cap lost the other one in the ocean or something? Was this before or after Cap's energy shield?

He lost the original round shield in the ocean. Then he went thru a series of energy shields and other shields. He originally gave His orignal V shield to the WWII Black Panther Tcalla"s father. I just think it would be a cool variant but it sems that these children of the 70's 80's 90's seem to be whiny about this version. None of then even Knew that when they killed Steve Rodgers, that for years marvel had said Captain America uniform was bullet proof

It has nothing to do with the "shiny version", it has to do with the dislike of that version of the shield in the hands of modern Cap.

And just FYI, belittling the opinions of people that disagree with you because of when they were born is not a great way defend your choice.

You know, dude, many of your posts have a real edge to them; very unfriendly and uptight. Lighten up, man; we're all fans of this stuff. :)

I'm sorry, but I get offended when people insinuate that my opinions don't matter because I wasn't born in the in the 50's or 60's, and therefore have no idea what good comics are. Saying something like that is pretty ignorant, and it pisses me off when I see it.

I'm a huge Marvel fan, specifically Captain America and Iron Man, and I have read just about every trade ever released for both. I know more about these guys then most people, and I hate being talked to like I'm too young to know anything about good comics.

Again, sorry it I came off unfriendly, but being a huge Marvel fan I also feel strongly about this stuff.

Always was a fan of the rounded shield. I really dislike this one.
