Yea, I know that's old news, but check this shit.

So The Foo Fighters are on MTV2 live right now, and they fucking sensored "This Is A Call", removing the word 'ritalin.'

Okay, two things:
1. That song isn't about ritalin abuse, it's about a dude in a mental hospital.
2. Ritalin abuse is sooooo 10 years ago.

Also, they tend to censor "weed" on the radio.

I'm sorry, but if someone's going to try weed on the bus, it's not going to be because some rapper says the word, it's going to be because someone else is dealing it in the back seat.

See I was torn...love the Foo, but hate the MTV...but my soul won out and I have skipped it altogether...now I'm glad I did.

I remember when the video for "Last Resort" was on Much Music, they censored out half the lyrics in the song, including the words "last resort."

"Cut my life into peices, this is my ---------!"

"Cut my life into peices, this is my ---------!"What'd they censor it with, though? Nothing beats a GOOOOOOD censor clip!

Silence is uber-lame.

Gunshots, words that rhyme with the words censored, melodic humming, the words as though spoken into a glass... these are what music are all about!

MOS DEF WORD~!
Mad daps. :king:

How does Wondershozen relate to Foo Fighters?

Not that I mind having Wondershozen to watch.

Just silence on the vocal track. The music would still play, but the lyrics were blanked out.

Honestly, the song is called "Last Resort" and they don't say it.

Now if only they'd cut out the other half.

The System of a Down song Sugar had the word "kick" censored.

I think the censorship might have to do with the company that makes Ritalin protecting its intellectual property rights. A friend of mine was in a band called the Ritalin kids, but they had to change their name to the Riddlin' Kids when they were signed for copyright reasons.
