Are you as annoyed as I am at how easily these scratch? I have 2 or 3 new, huge marks, and I have no idea what could have caused it.

Also, the easy smudging. I don't understand why they didn't use the same screen as they did for the iPhone.

My second gen one is terrific about it. I've been beening to get a case for it, but when I went to the Mac Store they weren't out yet. I've been keeping mine in my pocket and it's scratchless.

I have a screen protector for mine and it's fine.

I've had my iPhone since launch, basically, and only have 1 scratch from when I put it in my pocket with my keys. Normally, different pockets.

I have one and no scratch. It's been pretty scratch resistant too.

It smudged when i first got it, but i got a case with a screen protector and have had no issues since.

It's total crap that you need to buy a screen protector for a hand held device.
