So, some shows have already started up (looking at you, CW network and cable), but this week sees the official premieres of most networks, and I've already had to redo my DVRs. Yes, it's sad when you have to have 2 DVRs because there are more than 2 shows on a given timeslot that you want to watch, but I will admit, much like comics, it is VERY rare that I give up on a show until it ends. So, yes, I am still watching Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives (which got WAY better last season), and am willing to stick it out with Chuck and Sarah Connor, in addition to the (far too many) other shows on.

Now, this is a judge-free board, so no "maybe you should stop watching XXX show," or "seek help" posts. I don't need a(nother) therapist. TV is like my sports or video games. It's what I'm in to. I'm just seeing that I am not alone.

With that in mind, help me out- show me I'm not alone in my obsession with television and sick addiction to my DVRs. Who else is facing TV delimas? What are you watching this season?

Below is my list of Fall shows (this doesn't include mid-season replacements like Dollhouse and Winter debuting shows like BSG)...this came from Ain't It Cool News so it still as the network and the premiere dates. Post yours!

Thursday- My Name is Earl
Really fun show with great guest stars including this week's season premiere Seth Green.

And speaking of Seth Green, if you aren't already watching it, check it out on adultswim.com the new season of ROBOT CHICKEN :)

What? No SHIELD? For shame! :)

Shows I am trying to keep up with:
The Biggest Loser
The Shield
Rescue Me

I wanted to catch the premiere of Fringe, but mixed up the dates. I just watched season 1 of Heroes, so I'm going to be watching season 3 just as soon as I am able to get caught up with season 2. I used to watch Smallville, but I kept missing a week here and there. Need to really get my dvdr set up...

Jim, you are not alone in your addiction. I may actually watch more scripted TV than you do, but it's probably a close call.

What I'd do is use the DVRs for any ratings challenged TV programs that way your viewings get added to the Neilsen numbers. Every little bit helps. For other more popular shows, watch them online or dust off a VCR or two.

Like you, I watch a lot of TV

Terminator: TSCC
Prison Break
Heroes
Chuck
HIMYM
Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men
New Adventures Of Old Christine
Boston Legal
Gossip Girl
Life
All 3 CSIs
All 3 Law & Orders
Samantha Who
NCIS
The Mentalist
90210
House
Fringe
The Shield
Pushing Daisies
Private Practice
Dirty Sexy Money
Bones
Smallville
Supernatural
My Name Is Earl
The Office
30 Rock
ER
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Grey's Anatomy
Life On Mars (hasn't premiered yet)
Desperate Housewives
Brothers and Sisters
The Unit
Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad
True Blood
Dexter
Entourage
Californication

... and like your list, my list doesn't include any midseason programs or hiatus programs like Dollhouse, BSG, Burn Notice, Weeds etc.
