Let's remind ourselves of my greatness, which I proved once again by articulating how the political mood of the country can be determined by what kind of horror movies are most prevalent. If the nation is obsessed with:

Zombies and Werewolves: Republicans will hold the White House.

Vampires and UFOs: Democrats will hold the White House.

It's not to say that vampire or zombie movies aren't made during the other's terms. They ARE. They almost always fail, though, due to lack of interest. Vampire movies and television shows were big business in the 90's. They sort of fell out of favor during the Bush regime when zombies came back. Zombies are going out again in favor of Vampires now.

There will still be zombie movies, but they will not have the impact that the big ones made in the past 6 years have had.
