IIRC super-ex had a few shots of chicks scantily clad. so it's worth it in the same sense that snakes on a plane had a beautiful set of titties on screen and uncovered for like 30 seconds or so.

Yeah okay, I'm not paying for it though. I'm not gonna steal it or anything, just wait until someone gets a copy or they show it on tv.
I was kinda underwhelmed by Snakes although it might have been because Sam Jackson promoted it like it was the best fucking thing in existence.

I hear people who saw it felt this way, but I felt this way just watching the trailer - it didn't seem like the film knew what it wanted to be. Just back and forth almost gimmick to gimmick. The trailer is full of scenes of him not caring and doing stuff beyond his knowledge of his own strength, the whale that hits the boat and all that crap. Just the same beat/idea/joke told in several different versions...I feel bad for the director.

Yeah, I'm thinking that I'm going to avoid both anyway. :)

Man, I really wanted to see Hancock. I have the script and it's a fun read... but then again, who knows how many rewrites it went through and what ended up on screen.

Bendis was saying that it went through lots of people and rewrites. Which is a very bad thing.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend is better only because of the existence of Eddie Izzard. And Anna Ferris' hotness.

Is the script you have a comedy? Or is it one of the super dramatic drafts of Tonight He Comes? Cuz if it's the latter, Hancock is NOTHING like it.
I honestly, seriously, truly liked this movie. Was it flawed? Yes. Absolutely. But I considered the forced comedic atmosphere in the first half to be the source of most of the flaws. I LOVED the second half.
Haven't seen Super Ex-Girlfriend yet, but it just sounds like a full movie's worth of the stuff I complained about in Hancock. :p

And Anna Ferris' hotness.
Just saw MSEG the other day and really enjoyed blonde Anna Faris. She really should get away from these shite comedies though and move up to horror movies with gratuitous nudity! ;)
Oh yeah, the movie is crap. Sorry, nearly forgot that...

This cannot possibly be true.
My mom has pretty crappy taste in movies and since I started writing comics that never get published she tries to watch every superhero movie and give me 'tips' about stuff I should do.
After watching My Super Ex-Girlfriend she gives me a call and says "I just saw this movie. I want you to watch it. Never, ever write anything like this. If you do, I will disown you."
And I watched it and agree. If I ever wrote something as bad as this was I would want demons to emerge out of hell and tear me to ribbons while reading it back to me aloud.
