Listened to plenty of the new Bendis tapes while reorganizing some of my shelves, and you could easily make a drinking game out of it.
Every time Siuntres says "Very Cool", "Cool", "Really Cool" or some variation of that take a drink. The same goes for whenever someone does a different voice.

 It's such a good time though.

Drain the glass if someone is made uncomfortable by a question. :D

I haven't heard too many people made uncomfortable by a question.

Drink whenever someone says the word "literally."
Drink whenever someone cites a work of fiction (novel, movie, comic) from before you were born.
Drink for the duration that Jeph Loeb spends on said tangent and you'll be rushed to the hospital.

Everytime Bendis says "You know what I mean?"

Somebody drops an F-bomb and apologizes before John reminds them this is the internet.

Had the same thought a few Bendis Tapes ago.

Every time Bendis says something somewhat inappropriate and then follows it with a "WHHHAATTT"
And whenever John says "whadda ya gonna do"

I'd say you could get nice and hammered off of John's, "NO, and, I mean, really, y'know, no, because, really..." recoveries alone. :)

What about everytime Brubaker says "you know..."

It's all in love. :)

The fact that we know your vocal tics by heart means something.

"It's the internet, you can say anything." = 3 shots of yager (1 for hear no evil, 1 for see, etc)

Everytime John says "sure" in response to an answer slam a beer.

(and as noted, it's all in love. any interview of mine 'um', and 'y'know' would get people seriously drunk. 'Fuck' (or a variant thereof) would land someone in the hospital!)

Seriously though, what is the practical application of this? It's not like I listen to Word Balloon with friends and if you're playing drinking games alone to a comics' podcast... you're in trouble, you know?

I'd go with the big laugh myself. Or you could drink every time he does a Didio impersonation.

"Atta Boy"

This is by far my favorite. To me, it's your catch phrase. I giggle every time I hear it. Scratch that...Myles never giggles.

we finally finished the loeb report, to be released late this week, and the mentioning of jeph's co-writers aron colliete, joe pokasky, and jesse alexander will get you shitfaced, very fast.

After listening to the around comics podcast this week I had to track down his video podcast with Grant Morrision. Thus everytime he nods in that video take a drink :) You will be lucky to last through the whole thing. Funny stuff.

Namechecks BBC America or British TV show. I'd swear John has seen more UK shows in the last year than most residents.

And for John: The next Spooks (MI6) series looks a cracker with Richard Armitage from Robin Hood tv show having a major role.

Just want to throw in my "Atta Boy" love. Easily the best Word Balloon catchphrase, if such a thing is even possible.
