I've heard you have really big ass bugs there. Like you'll be walking down the street and big ass bugs will just be walking all over (not like ALL over, but you get what I mean.) Is there any truth to this?

I don't think they'd find the thought scary....i think 'arousing' is more the word. ;)

I've been all over this great land of ours, and the most frightening insects I've ever seen are the mosquitoes in Minnesota.

Do you mean carpet baggers? They sort of faded away after reconstruction.

We have palmetto bugs, which are probably the biggest ones I can think of. They are like super cockroaches.

Um...
Maybe like Louisiana to Florida, going no farther north than the Carolinas? Maybe.

Kentucky doesn't really have BIG bugs just walking around. The first year living in my house we had these bag worms that I guess come around every 5-7 years and that was irritating because they were EVERYWHERE!

This thread makes me hungry for cicadas.
That's a craving I'll have to wait 16 more years to fill. :(

Speaking about bugs....just the other day I went to my apartment's front door and the whole entire top half of the door was a blanket of gnats and small flies :x That's what I hate about the summer.
Lake fly season is coming up, too - and that is just a disgusting time.
