It's kind of a common thing here in Korea. I've seen it done a few times. They call it the "Dr. Fish" here too. I've never been brave enough to try it.

I'd be tempted to try it. It doesn't hurt and it looks safer than using blades like some salons still use.

The people I know who've had it done says it feels weird and ticklish but that it doesn't hurt. I'd say it's probably way safer than blades.

I would totally try it...it's been on the news here for the last couple days. Looks pretty cool.

This was part of the reward for the winning team during the first week of "I Survived A Japanese Game Show." They loved it.

There is a lake not far from here where my step-sister has a cottage and hen you dangle your feet of the pier, the baby fish chew the dead skin off. They will work a callus until its gone and never touch the living flesh.
It's creepy, but boy are your feet smooth afterwards.

Is that what they're calling a visit to the gynecologist now? Kids today!

Would love to have this done. I'm a bit shy about my feet, and hate people touching them (except hubby, of course)...so the idea of fish - instead of a person - doing the 'work' is appealing to me. I bet it would be rather relaxing...if I'm not too ticklish.
