I really don't know how people read that page. As a web designer, it makes my eyes bleed trying to figure out what headline I should be looking at.

The logo is tragic. Can't he get one with a little more legibility? The italicized bold caps really give you the feeling that it's moving so fast, it's on the cutting edge of information! ;-)

The design looks like it's some pamphlet a nut-case in the subway writes all his conspiracy theories on and hands to you. Or is that the point?

I'm sure the guy makes a silo of cash from the site. Would it kill him to hire a designer who knows a little something about designing a page for easy scanning of info?

:mistrust:

It's a link site. Gooning it up with whatever bullshit trend (read: OMG WEB 2.0 LOLOLOLOLOL) is currently in e-fashion would be a pointless gesture.

You should be more outraged at the auto-refresh, which pads out his hit count.

That's some back end shennannigans going on.

It doesn't have to have a glossy web 2.0 logo and look like every other site. I'm just talking about basic legibility and layout. At least have someone making deliberate layout decisions and not just a clusterfuck. This is irrelevant to his politics. I just find it odd that it's designed so poorly. It's the blog design equivalent of the coloring in Dark Knight Strikes Again.
