How do you talk to McCartney without sounding like a blabbering idiot?

I once slandered the filthy jeans of Kris Kristofferson as he entered an elevator at a local Radio Station for an interview (some time back in the mid to late 80s). I'm sure he was pleased by said insult seeing that it was coming from the high school aged night time janitor of the facility.

the R & B singer Mya came into a gas station near BWI airport i worked at once. i wasn't quite sure it was her (the only thing she was known for at the time was sining the hook on "ghetto superstar" by praswell and ol' dirty) so a kid i worked with went over to her and asked if it was her. when she said yes he proceeded to turn around and yell across the store "YEA IT'S HER DUDE!" priceless.

Elvis Costello was Jaime Lee Curtis'es guest at a Spinal Tap concert in New York.

My wife is a huge Elvis fan so I went up and asked him to sign my ticket stub for her (she was too shy to come with me). I guess I went up at a bad time because Jaime gave me the evilist look.

Oh well. I can live with pissing off Jaime Lee Curtis to make my wife happy.

Elvis even performed "Gimme Some Money" with the Tap that night. It was great.

Same with Kirby, who I'd idolized since childhood.
Do famous comic professionals like Bendis or Dan Didio count as famous people? I can name a million XD.

I dunno about this but I've met some of the Heroes cast members such as.

I've met more than this, but here are a few of the highlights...

William Shatner - Back when he was terribly fat. (His Rescue 911 days) Had his fake hair on crooked and was sunburned to shit, did a meet and greet at a local video store because he was in town to see one of his horses run in the Kentucky Derby. My mom bought one of his headshots for me to get signed, paid like 20 bucks for it, then he wanted to charge 20 more for the autograph.

Ass. Hole.

Asshole.

Tenacious D - Both of them looked extremely tired, but they were still pretty personable.

Tom Jane - Saw him at Comicon last year and shouted "I just want my kids back!" at him. I think he smirked... Or maybe he was just drunk.

Jared, the Subway Sandwich guy - Met him a couple years back while doing my usual Washington lobbying for the American Heart Association, and for some reason I always thought he'd be a tremendous douche, drunk on his own miniscule sliver of fame. Turned out he was a nice, decent dude. I was kinda pissed.

Bruce Campbell - Bar none, the coolest famous person I've ever met. He was friendly as shit and had no problem just standing around talking to me for like five minutes. Just a really awesome dude.

I used to work in fancy restaurants downtown, and I live in Vancouver, so I've met more than my share of celebrities. I've got two favourite anecdotes, though (well, three... but one is really long, I'll leave it out):

One place I used to work at was frequented by Jessica Alba whenever she was in town (she's just as hot in person, BTW... Not all starlets are). One night, I was clearing off her table, and as I went back the the kitchen, I noticed she'd barely touched her steak. When I was in there with a friend of mine, we just kind of looked at each other, and neither of us said anything, though it was obvious we were thinking the same thing.

Now, normally I would never ever eat something someone was working on (though stealing untouched portions is an industry staple), but in that case, I decided to make an exception. So I said, "Fuck, I'll eat Jessica Alba's steak." My friend laughed, and I did. It was tasty.

This one might be my favourite though. At another restaurant, I used to be a valet (oh, what a miserable job that is...). One night, I was facing the opposite direction of the street, not really paying attention to anything. A car pulled up behind me, and I heard someone get out. Without fully turning around, I said, "Good evening," or some such. Upon fully turning, I saw it was Harrison Ford. Now, like I said, I used to see celebs all the time, so I was never usually impressed just for the sake of it. But that time, I was like, "Holy fuck... It's Han Solo!!" But I managed to keep my composure, and he went inside after returning my greeting.

The best part came later. Some hours later, a guy with a car service pulled up. I offered to go inside and tell his customers he was there (you can't see the street from the restaurant), but he declined, and went down the stairs himself. Seconds later, Harrison Ford came out with the people he'd met there, and they were all kind of laughing and joking around. As a joke, Harrison Ford went over and pretended he was going to steal the car from the guy who'd just gone in (it was still running, I think). I said in a joking manner, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?" Everyone chuckled a bit, and then they walked off, Harrison Ford going one way down the street, the others going the other way.

The guy with the car service came out, and I said to him, "Hey man, you should be careful. Harrison Ford nearly stole your car."

He goes, "Yeah, whatever..." in a bored tone.

I said, "No, seriously. See, he's right over there."

The guy looked over, and upon seeing him, his eyes went as wide as saucers. It was pretty priceless.

Reggie Miller (He's a friend of my aunt who's a car dealer, and when I was picking up my car I just bought from her, he popped in to say hi to her)

Musicwise, I hung out with;
- Serj, John, and Shavo from System of a Down, they were really approachable guys who were easy to talk to, and during the show, you'd see them out in the crowd while the other bands were playing, just bullshitting with everyone.

-Static-X, another band that they just like to hang out with everyone

-Spineshank, I took them to a strip club (they wanted to know where a good one was at, since the neughborhood where the show was at, had one that was just nasty)

-Burton and Christian from Fear Factory, we were talking about the Matrix which came out the previous month and they were telling me about the video for their cover of "Cars" that they were shooting the next week and how they wanted it to be inspired by the Matrix

-Moby

-The guys from Powerman 5000

-Twiggy from Marilyn Manson (ran into him at a record store that used to be in Circle Center Mall)

-During Ozzfest '99, a friend of mine ran the official website for that year and conducted interviews throughout the tour and got me backstage and met Jared from Hed p.e., The guys from Slipknot, Riggs and John Tempesta from Rob Zombie's band, the guys from Static-X and Fear Factory again (both of whom I met just a month before), Sully from Godsmack, Sharon Osbourne, and one I was most excited to see, Les Claypool from Primus.

And that's about it.

Bruce Campbell might be one of the only celebs I'd mark out for. He replied to an email I sent him once (and it was inane as fuck), and I damn near had a heart attack.

Yeah, and see the thing is, now that he's on Boston Legal I'm enjoying the dude's work more than I ever have, but every now and then I get visions of him assraping me and asking me for twenty more bucks to pull out and shoot on the small of my back.

Didn't you post the whole story about Will Shatner a while back?

Damn it to hell! And as for celeb stories I've got a short one with Lou Ferigno.

I was at my first con in WWTX and I saw Ferigno and knowing him from the Hulk show I picked up a Hulk comic book and asked him if he could sign it. And he picked up one of his B&W pics and said "I only sign these" and he was charging maybe 20 bucks per authograph and another 10 for a photo? I just said no thanks.

That really soured me on the guy afterwards and on celebs since most of them charge alot for photos. Also does Campbell frequent comic conventions or am I gonna have to dig for signings or something?

Well yeah, but that's pretty much the only way Ferrigno makes his money anymore. I can't fault him too hard for it. He doesn't have the Star Trek tit to suck on.

Neither can I but doesn't he do alot of guest appearances on tv shows? He even had a part in the Hulk movie and did the voice for the Hulk. I'm sure he's got some amount of fame even if it isn't as high as the Star Trek kind.

Now it's also my fault for asking him to sign the Hulk book but I figured it would be funny and the way he came off about his answer just felt pretty rude. He also does a million shows so I suppose he's fine.

Gotta say, since I mentioned him too, and even though I didn't interact with him myself, I had the same reaction to seeing Harrison Ford. He was filming The Devil's Own in and around my neighborhood at the time. Now as I said I've seen so many famous people in NYC I didn't even list half of them, and you see movie and tv productions going everywhere, so it's not a big deal. But one day on my way home from work there's this production company filiming in an Irish Pub near me, not a big set either and wasn't sectioned off or anything. So literally just standing there waiting to cross the street all of a sudden Harrison Ford walks out of the set and right by me. After ALL the people I've seen and met, he was the one that I was like, 'wow, now there's a movie star!' Way cool!

I also remembered that I once bummed right into Uma Thurman coming out of a Rolling Stones concert with my girlfriend at MSG. We were both raving about how great the show was to the person we were with as we left, then we crashed right into each other. Big smiles, then back to rambling about the Stones again!

HAHA funny thing is i got to meet the buzzcocks through kurt cobain... we did bong hits...

I got to ride that "viking ship" type ride at the Marshfield Fair with Steven Tyler... got and extra song out of it to have and extra long ride out of it too...

I met Tyler at the Rock-n-Roll HoF ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in '98. They were there to induct Zeppelin that night. Tyler was cool, though a little preoccupied with some other people, but Joe Perry was mad cool, totally real and low key. Good guy, but way tinier than I expected.

I'm cocky.

I used to live in Tucson, Arizona. For years I'd heard about how McCartney owned a ranch in the foothills. But nobody I knew ever saw him.
Anyway, I was a manager for an independent record and video store, called Zips, on the northeast side. This is back in the day of Sir Mix-A-Lot, 2 Live Crew, De La Soul, etc.
I was actually called Patch (PAT + zirCHer = Patch) and thought that was cool
It's, like, my third day as a manager and I'm restocking cassettes. It's early and the store is pretty dead. I hear the little bell by the door jingle and turn around to see who's coming in. This guy with a flannel shirt (very L.L. Bean) and some kind of fisherman's waders (?) is walking down the aisle. He turns as I turn and gives me a wink. Yes, a wink.
I'm thinking, that guy just winked. Weird.
Then my brain informs me that guy-- that guy is Paul McCartney.
Inside, I start screaming like one of those teenage girls in the old Beatles concert films.
So I ask him if I can help him and he says he wants to rent some Nintendo games. Sure (Rent? I thought guys like McCartney had them hand-delivered by butlers or something). He turns and goes back out of the store -- and I'm immediately depressed.
But a minute later comes in with Linda and two of his kids. They start going over the Nintendo games and McCartney comes over to this little front desk-ish/stereo/register area I'm at. He asks me how's it going. I think I'm gonna pee.
I geek and ask him if he'll sign a disc for me (I still have it). I grab a copy of Ram and he looks at the cover and smiles and we start talking about Beatles memorabilia. I make some stupid joke about how if he'd have held on to the memorabilia he'd be set for life. He actually laughs so I'm feeling, like, cool, we're gonna be friends, eat in English castles, and fly around the moon together.
But somehow, my dead store now has about 70 people in it (this Zips had an office for several other locations around town and I think the office girls were calling boyfriends, husbands, whoever). There's a line with people holding every Beatles item in the store. He starts signing but people start crowding him. I'm trying to get people to chill. Linda and his kids bring up the Nintendos, Paul McCartney actually gives me an appreciative goodbye (and apparently likes to say Patch because he called me by name several times) and they're out of there.
I'm not kidding, there was this moment of quiet after he left, and then everybody starts talking, gigling, whispering. It's like we were school kids.
Anyway, McCartney bought the rentals and didn't return a few days later.
It was still an unforgettable little thing.

Damn man, that's a good one. Score points for not gushing (too badly). :p

First off, you do realize you'll now be know as "Patch" on this board forever more! (at least by me! :) )

Second, the fact that you were stocking cassette tapes, and painted a nice little picture of the popular music of the time, is a beautiful thing.

Third, I gotta think Paul was a master at the wink. I've heard stories about Lennon in NYC being the same way, when someone would recognize him he'd give the little wink meaning yup its me, lets not get crazy or anything, and how ya doin'?

Forth, you met Paul McCartney!

Mya the singer(did a performance at my college some years ago)-She was nice, a friend of mine went clubbing with her.
Ghost Face Killa-again, another performance at my college. This was back when he first started rocking the bathrobe everywhere, with a massive gold eagle on his arm
Outkast- Bumped into them at the mall in atlanta my freshman year.
Nikki Giovanni-She gave a talk during my last year in college, and I got the chance to talk to her for a while. Fucking awesome.

My college roommate met the singer Monica once. He worked at a blockbuster video in College Park, and one night she came in and asked if she could use the restroom. It was close to closing time so he let her go to the employee rest room in the back. She goes, does her thing, comes back, talks to the employees for a minute or two, then leaves. Immediately after my friend goes to do the regular end of night clean up stuff, which includes cleaning the bathrooms. He steps foot in the employee restroom and says that the smell was so bad that his eyes teared up. He never looked at Monica the same again.

I'm a mortgage underwriter in NY (at least I was before the shit hit the fan) and when Oliver Perez got traded to the Mets I underwrote his mortgage application. (Never actually met him, but still pretty cool. His paystub was out of control, seriously.)

There's no such thing as 'normal' - just varying degrees of weird.

I've never watched porn (well, except for an occasional mishap or two - remind me to tell you someday about the stay in a City Line Ave. motel with my mom and grandmom...THAT was amusing.). I think my porn-aversion dates back to my childhood days, when all that was on tv was Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. He was in town filming US Marshalls and he was out with his boys. I danced a bit with him and it made me giggle when he would grunt and growl as he danced. The thing about these "what celebrities/famous people you have met" threads is that majority of meets occur at cons/promotional events/signings/etc. Anybody who goes to these will meet/encounter celebrities. I think it would be more unique if one encounters a celebrity in a random/freak occurrence.

Angelina Jolie years ago when she was at a film festival in South Florida right around the time Hackers came out.

Kevin Spacey- same film festival. Got to interview him and brought my wife along as my 'photographer' while I was doing freelance writing down in FLA. He was a very nice guy and sat down with us for over a half hour which I thought was cool.

Mike Tyson at a Borders bookstore in Fla. He had a bunch of bodyguards with him so I didn't dare approach him but he was smiling, at least lol.

Gary Delabate and his family were shopping in Lowes in CT when I lived in NY. I didn't want to intrude on the family but as I passed by I gave him the smile and nod and told him, 'big fan'. He said thanks and probably appreciated the fact that I a) didn't bother him or his family b) didn't shout Baba Booey or something else

Charlie Huston at a b-day party/get together for him at a bar in NYC. He was easy going and great to talk to, even though I must have sounded like an idiot with the, 'you write the way I want to write' nonsense.

The entire cast of Spider-Man, including Sam Raimi who I got to talk to a lot at the Spider-Man premire and after party in LA year ago. Everyone was very cool and it was neat to sit with the cast and be treated like a celeb. Funniest part for me was JK Simmons leaving the movie as soon as his scenes were done. Christian Slater said hi to me in the men's room.

Various other comic book and pop culture celebs but they were at cons or appearances so I won't count them.

Tobey actually seemed very shy. He was friendly and seemed to be smiling a lot but very soft spoken and humble as people were going nuts for his performance....especiallly right after the film ended

I don't think she looks that great on screen (at least not as MJ) but was very, very pretty in person.

Jesus of Nasereth.

awwwww shit, I think I may have misspelled "nasereth," which pretty much killed that joke.

Yep... I just googled that and I was wrong. It's "Nazareth." Damn.

The guy from the Show Monk came into the McDonald's I was working at for lunch once.

outside of that? I met Van Sciver at an in store signing at my old comic shop (which I had to be dragged up to him since I didn't want to bother him for an autograph while he was doing a sketch...)

and I was standing nearby Robert Kirkman and I think the artists for Walking Dead and Invincible but didn't say anything since they were being crowded by people already and well I had my books to pick up (it was a wednesday i nthe store)

yeah I'm boring.

oh and I gave Richard Gere the finger while he was filming a movie in my town a few months back. Guess he thought it was funny since he smiled and waved back.

Exactly three people will know who the fuck she is, but I don't care -- I met Mary Prankster, and she's awesome. Only reinforced my girl crush on her.

Being a central Pennsylvanian, I used to go to Rocky Horror with Bobby Dahl's (bass player from Poison) brother, Butch. What an asshole. Half the girls I know were engaged to him. In a similar vein, I used to see Rikki Rockett's dad all the time.

And, uh, Taime Downe from Faster Pussycat/The Newlydeads and I used to email each other all the time. Going to see him in concert at the end of the month!

I haven't met anyone interesting. :?

Man, those are some impressive stories. I'm extra jealous of the guy who met Charles Barkley. I'd love to give him a hug and just say thank you.

When I worked at a comic shop, there was a con up in Detroit, and I guess a guy who handles lesser Star Wars actors was shopping them around for signings afterwards. My boss bit, and we had Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin) and Paul Blake (Greedo) in for a signing. Sad thing is, it was dead. Like no one showed up. But that meant I got to hang with them a bit. I had a smoke outside with Blake, who was a real cool dude. Think it was one of his first times in the states, because he wanted to buy a little sleeve to put some trading cards in, but didn't know which of the coins in his pocket was a quarter. I told him not to worry about it, but he was adament about paying.

I also live in Katie Holmes' hometown, and me and a friend spotted a limo down on his street, where he was fairly sure she had relatives living. We didn't stick around, but we were pretty sure it was either her or Cruise in there. Our other friend went ballistic and said we could have gotten some premo cash if we'd waited out there and tried to snap some pictures (this was around the time she'd just given birth, so it was possible she'd come home to show off to the family still in town). But we're not fucking vultures, if they were just visiting family, last thing they need are fuckers hiding in the bushes for them. Though I had a weird dream where I helped Tom Cruise change a tire that night.

Ben Wallace I met too, what a cool guy. He was fro'd out that day. This was while he was still a Piston, after the championship, and I told him how happy I was as a Piston fan that he was able win it all. He said, "Not as happy as me, man." He looks like the most intimidating man in the world, but he's really nice. Heard stories of how he would build and race RC cars with the kids in his neighborhood.

Both were pretty cool dudes. My boss had a little party the night before that he sold tickets for, Peter and Paul at dinner. Apparently Peter really liked his Margaritas.

I did ask Blake about the prostetics and all, and he said it was hot as hell under all that junk. And also very adament that Han shot first. :)

Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Vincent Price were THE masters of horror when I was a kid. Most comic artists model Justin Hammer (Ironman villain) after Cushing. He and Guinness gave Star Wars a lot of the cred and weight it needed to succeed.
I would love to have met him.

Seriously? This means I've gotta pick up all the comics that had Hammer in it.

I love that man. ;)

My dad is a sports writer, so one time I got to go along with him and met Nolan Ryan. I also don't know how famous he is (though I've heard him mentioned outside of San Antonio), but I've also met radio announcer Roy Acuff. I met Linkin Park when I was really into them five years ago. Oh yeah I also met the one and only Pat Loika at Staple this year.

Because all the ladies in the room were macking on you instead of him right?

If I remember correctly it had to do with being let into a guest's room.

Out of all the celebrities I've bumped into or given an awkward 'hello' to, they're all eclipsed by finally meeting Eddie Vedder and having a short conversation with him after one of his recent solo shows.

Cool on the Vedder story, and yeah I'm sure it was hotel related.

A ton in the past year, but my top 3 are:
Having a conversation with Steven Spielberg (and making him laugh) about the mustache contest we'd been having at the studio, and why there were huge posters with our mustach-ed faces on them in the courtyard.
Spending 3 & 1/2 hours on an ADR stage while Jamie Foxx recorded dialog, working side-by-side on a small little project with Joe Wright (one of my favourite directors) and the hugely nice things he said to one of the guys I work with about me.
Complementing Jason Segel on his penis (in a completely heterosexual way, in front of my date) at the wrap party for one of our films, and his resulting laughter.

Here's my less cool thread about this from some time ago (before your time, Zircher no biggie): http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=148253

I'll paste mine from there and add a few I just recalled...

Obviously not counting comic creators or we'd all have a list a mile long. Here's a list of famous people I've run into off the top of my head:

1) As a kid at a restaurant named Rax I was sitting next to then Twins skipper Billy Gardner and my Dad got his autograph for me.

2) years ago they held the NBA All Star game here in MN at the Target Center. Well, they had the NBA Jam Session week long event at the Metrodome and I was there. On the way in to the event I bumped into Mitch Richmond and he asked my Mom for a ride to the Target Center. I wasn't sure it was him at first (even wearing him fur coat and standing tall) and my Mom gave him bus directions instead. Once inside I saw his picture on the wall and kicked myself.

Later I played a game of NBA Jam against Captain Sisko himself Avery Brooks, got slapped in the back of the head by Shawn Kemp, and accidentally bumped into Blossum star Mayim Biyalik, sending her on her ass. I helped her off the floor and apologized and she was really nice about it. I didn't realize it was her until she got up onto the autograph stage moments later.

3) At Wizard World Chicago 2000 I sat and bullshitted with then WCW wrestler Raven in the Hyatt bar for a good half hour. Being a wrestling opinion columnist for Lords of Pain at the time I thought I'd be cooler than the other dorks calling out to Raven by casually saying "Hey Scotty" and hoping he'd drop by for a chat. He walked over to my table and joined me, my buddy, and his wife. He pulled up a chair and talked with us like we were old friends. He talked about his near death from a staph infection and how much he hated Eric Bischoff and wished he could go back to ECW (which he did not long after). He was really a cool guy who honestly enjoyed talking comics and wrestling with a couple of fanboys.

4) While working on my wrestling talk show I met TONS of famous wrestlers. I had Greg Gagne, Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon, Baron Von Rasche, Jerry Lynn, and Jim Brunzell on my program and I hooked up with ECW after having Jerry on the show. In return for pimping their St. Paul PPV Anarchy Rulz on the show repeatedly and plastering posters all over the place I got 10 free tickets to the show (4 of which were ringside) and after the event I was allowed to hang out backstage and met guys like Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Blue Meanie and Jasmine St. Clair, and Paul Heyman among others. Later when I actually started getting involved in the local wrestling scene I met, trained with, and got drunk with then local guys that are now pretty famous like CM Punk, Daivari, Ken Kennedy (then Kamikaze Ken Anderson), ODB, Adam Pierce, Colt Cabana, Lenny Lane, Austin Aries, and more I can't think of right now.

5) My son and I met and got our pictures taken with Mr. McFeely from Mr. Rogers last summer.

6) When I was bouncing at the bar we had lots of famous people come in. Former Vikings RB Michael Bennett came in one night and I escorted him into the club down the back stairs to avoid the line, but the most famous person I think I've met would be...

7) Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day. His wife Adrienne is the older sister of my buddy Steve Nesser, a kid I grew up with. I heard Steve talk about going on the road with Billy a bunch of times and it was funny because Steve ended up becoming a pro skateboarder himself under Tony Hawk's banner and now owns a skate shop here. So yeah, one night at the bar I see Steve walk in and he heads into the bowling alley with this other guy in a grey hoodie. Only when I stopped in to shoot the shit was I introduced to Billy. Cool mofo.

I know there are a few more, but my memory isn't what it used to be so that's all I could think of right now. How bout you guys? I guess you could say Bendis, Bru, and Fraction's Big Apple Adventure prompted this.

Others...Anthony Daniels, Kevin Smith, Lisa Loeb, Al Franken, Norm Coleman, Jesse Ventura, Marina Sirtis, Jonathon Frakes, Michael Cuddyer, Neil Gaiman, John Romita, Jr., and Jimmy Pop from Bloodhound Gang.

Man, those are some impressive stories. I'm extra jealous of the guy who met Charles Barkley. I'd love to give him a hug and just say thank you.
I met him twice....once when I was around 15 and again about a dozen years later. When I was 15 I met him at a benefit at a bowling alley and asked him for his autograph. He was really cool about it. Rick Mahorn was bowling at the time so I didn't bother him. Later on when I was leaving, I was standing outside with a friend and out come Sir Charles and Rick Mahorn. So I go over to Mahorn and ask him for his autograph, which he obliges. Barkley comes over and says "What, you don't want mine." I look at him then go...."Nahhhh." He goes all wide eyed and him and Mahorn started cracking up. I tell him that I already got one from him, he goes, "So? I'm more famous than him. You can keep one autograph and sell the other." We talked for a few minutes, he asked to see who else's autographs I got...was joking around saying "More famous...more famous..." as he was looking at the names. Came to Brian Oliver (another one of his teammates) and said "Waste of paper..." He was hysterical and just like he in on TV. Such a genuine guy....really personable and very approachable.

Some hockey player... Cam Neely? Is he famous?
I can't really think of anything.

Cam Neely is a hall of famer and one of the all time greats at his position and revolutionized what people expected out of the "Power forward" in the modern era. Plus he's become a huge philanthropist whose Neely Foundation provides great services and support for cancer patients and their families. So yes, he definately counts

I work in music TV so I've met loads of bands/actors etc etc. Some of the best are:

Scissor Sisters - are easily the nicest and most easy going band I've ever met. Faultlessly courteous and inviting. An absolute dream to work with.

Kirsten Dunst - around the time of Spider-Man, i interviewed Tobey and Kirsten on the roof of a hotel in Sydney. We did Kirsten's right before lunch. The hotel brought up her lunch which included 2 entire platters of food. She looked at it and invited me and the crew to lunch as there was so much food. She was really bubbly and sweet.

Enrique Iglesias - flirted with everything in a skirt. Was hilarious to watch. Funny guy too. Shame about the music.

Carmen Electra - beautiful, polite, completely vacant expression. But she was really sweet. All information had to be given to her assistant who'd remind her when the time was right. She gave a 15 year old boy a lapdance live on TV. His face was hilarious to watch.

Bjorn Ulvaeus (ABBA) - polite, articulate and incredibly patient with loads of professional people who kept asking him questions about ABBA. A real pleasure to meet.

Dave Grohl - Nice guy. Like, really nice. Like, you'd completely put up with some shitty behaviour because he's awesome but he STILL is completely nice. Got nothing to prove to anyone.

People I've personally met and don't like for various reasons:
Charlize Theron
Pete Wentz
Chris Martin
Cheryl Cole (Girls Aloud)
Justin Timberlake
