You know when you haven't seen a movie in a while and you see it again and it's totally fresh, like the first time you saw it? I just had that feeling re-reading the Who Killed Retro Girl and Roleplay stories. Man that was good $hit!

Re-reading any Powers tends to gimme that feeling. I love rereading things and spotting tiny things that you may have overlooked, whether it be something strange a character said, or just a lil something in the background that's been slipped in. I love the look of "extras" in comic scenes. they always look so grubby - like real people!

I re-read Powers all time. It's probably the comic that I'm most loyal to. Can't get enough of the story and art. :D

I've re-read Retro Girl a few times, too. That's such a great book.
In fact, if not for that book, I probably wouldn't be reading any mainstream comics.
A few years ago, I only picked up a few titles every month. Then, before a vacation, I stopped into a comic book store with a friend and asked for the owner to recommend a trade paperback for me to read on the trip. He hands me Powers Vol. I, and I loved it. After tearing through the rest of the series, I started on USM and several other titles. Now I'm a comic book junkie again. :D
