We had a really cool (and very helpful to me) "Making Of" thread for this pitch... if you didn't check that out, it's right here (http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=149663). This is the finished product, which will be submitted around to publishers started tomorrow.

EXISTENCE 2.0 is a fast-paced, ultra-violent sci-fi meets gangland caper about a corrupt and amoral physicist who finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him. At first, he's content to revel in his new life as a high level assassin-- a life full of beautiful women and all night parties. But when his daughter is kidnapped by the same people who ended his former life, he's forced to dig up his own past and solve his own murder. What results is an all out war the likes of which you've never seen. Perfect for fans of SNATCH, LAYER CAKE, and WANTED. Art by the brilliant Stefano Cardoselli!

The main character is not supposed to be likable is he?

The cussing kind of threw me out of it. I just don't think it served a purpose. Other than that I dug it.

The purpose was to offend you, yeah. :)

And no, he's not supposed to be likable. At all.

Well you got that across. Would be interesting to see where this goes.

Do you have someone to play against him? Do you plan to have a character that the reader is supposed to associate with? Will it end up being him?

That was pretty good man. I dug it. Too bad you're missing the NY Drink Up next week. I would have bought you a beer for the comic.

Interesting! I'd read more, which is always a good sign. Some art crits: The coloring is a little wonky at times. Your cover for example has a guy with orangey brown hair, wearing a brown coat, reddish brown tie, with brown pants, with a brown cat standing in front of him. Over a washed out purple background. It's... not great. The interiors are much better, but still tend to bleed into one another. Contrasting and complimentary colors as well as pushing the contrast of light and dark would help. I bet if you desaturated these pages completely, you'd get a lot of very similar greys and not a lot of contrast. So, there's that. Take'em or leave'em. Good luck!

My two cents,

Neal
