Disturbed's latest album Indestructible has captured the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart beating out the other big rock debut, Weezer (The Red Album). According to Hits magazine, a Billboard precursor chart magazine, the album has sold nearly 250,000 copies in its first week.

In an earlier interview, Disturbed's Dan Donnegan and David Draiman talked about their fans' willingness to put their new material up against old standbys like "The Sickness" and "Stupify."

[Draiman] "You're always excited to hear an old favorite, but there's nothing that burns as hot as a fresh flame, so..."

Other impressive debuts in the top five were the hits collection Now 28, Journey's Revelation, and Ashanti's Declaration. Meanwhile, Disturbed is overseas but will return to the United States for the Mayhem tour, which kicks off July 9 in Auburn, Washington.
