Fun stuff, as usual:

I do appreciate how complex that atari game is, though. :)

Is it wrong that I find The Angry Video Game Nerd ridiculously hot?

Atari Raiders of the Lost Ark is impossible without two people.

Yea, but when you think about it, it's pretty much impossible to make an atari game with a menu system with just one joystick. :)

My favorite bit was the endless boss life bar.

I love this video... especially when James accidentally breaks something with the whip!

Temple of Doom was the bane of my existence as a child. I had no idea how to pass the first level.

The latest game Emperor's Tomb is better (in terms of graphics and gameplay)... but can be equally as difficult. No matter how powerful the gun is or what part of the body you shoot at, it takes like 15 shots to kill a Nazi. Damn you Tomb Raider clone!

The only good Indy game I played was Greatest Adventures on SNES. Classic gaming.

I wonder if Fate of Atlantis works on XP...

This was pretty long but funny. Man... I actually remember playing that Raiders game on my friend's Atari. It WAS confusing as fuck.

Turtles 3 for the NES? I don't see how he could shit on a game that great. I DID watch his review of turtles 1, though, and it was amazing.

I think I remember that one being a little better... It had some puzzles, and you started fighting in the ship, right?

Nah, I got to where I could do it in my sleep alone back when I was 12. And I could play the game pretty good, too!

My dad and I used to play it together. There's one part where you parachute or soemthing, neither of us could get it alone.

I defy anyone to try telling me Halo is more fun than that.

I actually won the 2600 Indy Jones game several times as a kid - was just something to do every few months, y'know? I think my older brother had some kind of hint book to help us get through it, but in my memory it's more like we just puzzled it out. I'll have to ask him.

Anyway, love the Video Game Nerd. His review of the Indy games was about ten times more entertaining than Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.

I think the magazine Atari Age was what gave me the answer. Or maybe that was the first time I used a help line.

The LucasArts adventure games, Last Crusade and Fate of Atlantis, were great fun.
