Dude, I placed an order through them for the Mack oversized kabuki hc thingee a while back. I then decided to order the signed/sketch one too, and placed a seperate order. I messed up and didn't do my cc right and the signed one wasn't charged (oops)

I emailed them, and not only did they charge my card, but they noticed that on some months, I ordered multiple times (each as a seperate order w/ seperate shipping charges), and they removed those charges off the multiple shippings in the same month, and they applied that money as a credit to my kabuki order.

It was totally unexpected, and very nice of them to do.

So, here's to you, Christina and Zack at DCBS for giving me a prompt response, and going above and beyond the call.

:)

I already know they're awesome. What strikes me more is that you were going to pay for two different versions of the same hardcover.

So now I know who to blame for variant covers.....

Would it surprise you that one is a gift, and one is for me?

I ordered the regular one initially, and once I discoverd the signed one w/ a sketch from Mack, Idecided to get that one for me, and give theother one to my friend, Lynda.

Yeah their customer service has always kicked ass, and I haven't had a major problem with them in the three years I have been using DCBS.

Well, they're certainly very responsive to requests, but this is also something that they should be doing without prompting. I had to ask them to do the same thing a couple months ago.

Yeah, I had a bunch of stuff on advance order from them when I lost my job. When I explained the situation, they were nice enough to make an exception, cancel it, and give me a full refund. And they were really nice about it. Great service, my go to source for this kind of stuff.
