It was outstanding. Really, I put it right up there with the top superhero movies... Spider Man 2, X-Men 2, Batman Begins, you name it. The movie just hits all the marks-- cast is great (Particularly Downey), storyline works, fight scenes and SFX rock, and there are even some cool easter eggs.
Now let's just hope Hulk does nearly as well...

I found the 100-Page Giant issue of Iron Man you wrote the other day, oddly enough.
I have nothing really to add since I haven't seen the movie yet.

I haven't read it in about 7 years or however long. I think he fought a bunch of his old suits or something? I don't know for sure.
I'll see the movie either tonight or Saturday. I'm looking forward to it.

As an update, the Iron Man 100-Page Giant was, in fact, the Frankenstein Syndrome.

I thought Robert Downey Jr. was great as Tony Stark. The FX were awsome and I can't wait for number 2.
The only thing I didn't like was the length. I thought it could've been a little shorter.
Can anyone fill me in on what the scene during the credits was about? I didn't stay.

I saw Iron Man on Saturday and it was awesome. When I got home I read The Frankensteain Syndrome (Iron Man volume 3 #46), and it was good. I remember really liking the Tieri Iron Man, or at least defending it against people who didn't like it as much. Although that may be Keron Grant's art that turned them off. Anyway, I sold about 90% of my comics five years ago and it's the only issue of the run I have left.

I'm usually very demanding with movies, but Iron Man was satisfying enough. Certainly it wasn't a fiasco like other comic book movies. There are no major plot holes and Robert Downey Jr. is the ideal actor for Tony Stark.
