funny you should mention Blade of the Immortal. He had a short story published in one of the trades. Its a little funny cartoon thing about five pages long.

I got some page layouts from him today and he's amazing. The layouts have a lot of energy to them and flow nicely.

Pendragon,
We decided to go with a traditional manga look that he did on those first two pages. Its working out really well because the story is a blend of eastern and western themes and it gives it some japanese feeling weight.
I'm loving his stuff. Hopefully we'll finish and someone will like the concept enough to pick it up (even though I know thats a long shot.)
