How long does a e-file, direct deposit tax return take?

I filed it on Friday, it was accepted friday. How long will it take to get the return? I really hope I get it by Friday.

It all depends. Could be as early as a few days or as long as a couple weeks.

I e-filed my taxes on Sunday 3/2/08 and had my Federal direct deposit refund on 3/10/08.

Just got my NY State refund direct deposited in the last week or so.

I e-filed on March 30th and the refund was in my savings account yesterday. I wouldn't count on next Friday.
