i traded a damaged marvel boy trade for this book over the board with someone.

haven't received it yet but i picked it from what he was offereing simply because the name Oeming was on it.

exactly what is it about?

oooh, I love this book. this was just out around the time I start hanging out with Mike and met Neil around this time as well (he's also a buddy!). what can you say without ruining it? a steampunk style super-hero tale featuring a questionable hero and his sidekick. Much like the pulp heroes of old, and maybe even earlier renditions of Batman,this vigilante is not 100% pure by today's standards, and we get a view into his personal downward spiral as he faces a great villian in the process.

a wonderful book that i wish had more chapters to it, but I reckon "Blood River" never would have happened if Mike jumped into a sequel for this. and this was before Mike got those Doc Ock arms grafted onto his body!

any of mike's Image books that he wrote are great reads. BR happens to be the book i illustrated that mike and dan berman wrote a few years back
