The commemorative Toon Tumbler for the NYCC next month features Iron Man and also looks mighty sweet. I pick up the Toon Tumbler from every con I attend. Nice little memento.

I know all the different Iron Man designs are just for marketing/action figure purposes, but damn, those are cool.

I totally want one but the 7/11 where I am this week is NASTY. They aren't on city water. So the slurpees taste like ass- wellwater and its all sulferee. UGH... Cherry and Rotten egg. not a good combo. The coffee is unbearable. I couldn't even drink it and I was hurting.

I was going to get one of the cool lenticular Iron Man ones, but out of 6 available flavors only three were working... Two blue ones and one pina colada.

I don't like coconut and I refuse to eat anything blue. ROADBLOCKED. Damnit.

I won't eat blue either- Well, not that fake blue, naturally blue- like blue berries yes, but that toilet bowl blue color- hell no. I also won't eat dried food. No raisins or jerky. Its like food someone left out and it got all old and forgotten about and now you want to convince me to eat it? Um, no. I don't think so. I love coconut though, although what is the point of a pina colada without the rum?

Just got mine (with the matching straw). Had I known the straw was another $1.49 I would have passed. $5 for a Slurpee is pretty expensive, but the cup is REALLyY cool!

Jim.
04-01-2008, 09:17 AM
$1.99 for the cup
$3.29 for the lid
$1.49 for the straw

It's one expensive slurpee, but it's worth it.

Mine was just $3.29 for the head and $1.49 for the straw.

Apparently 7-11 isn't in the south anymore. Searching on their site, I couldn't find any in my state or the surrounding ones. I'm almost certain we had 7-11 when I was kid. Anybody know what happened with that?

Bought the helmet, and all three of the straws.

Haven't bought the lenticular cup(s?) yet, but will next week.

btw, no way I'm sullying such treasures with Slurpee syrup!

This is definitely one of the better movie promotions.

I bought a couple of the head-cups, b/c I babysit, & Iron Man heads make great bowls for ice cream.

The straws are the best though. Here is a pick of my favorite of the lenticular cups, & you can see the little figure that is on the straw can be detached.

I had to go to 4 7-11s before I found one, but I finally did. It's a cool mold, but scale wise I was disapointed. It's about the size of a coffee mug. Also It's molded of one piece. It would have been cool if the eyes were a separate piece. I had this idea where I was going to put an LED light inside, but no go there.

I got the Iron Man head, the red and gold figured straw and the three red and gold regular Slurpee cups. I'm pretty enamoured of them, even if they cost entirely too much (and I didn't even fill 3 of them!)

I got my Iron Man head. They were all out of straws though.

I also filled it with their new AMP Slurpee (which was being promoted by the Iron Man movie as well for some reason).

The cup was awesome, the Slurpee was flat.

The straw's my favorite part. Really cool looking. I don't normally drink with straws at home since I'm not four but I'm tempted to now, for sure!

The head cup has some design flaws, though. It seemed that Slurpee particles kept getting trapped in various crevices. Stark Industries would send a product like that right back to R&D!

Both will be perfect for the upcoming margarita season!
