1 - Did you forget it existed?
2 - Has it lost a little luster?
It just seems alone and out of place over on myspace is all.
I know the idea is attempting to expanding readership by being somewhere other than a comics news site, but I miss it and I just don't go to myspace ever...

It's been two weeks, and people were moaning it lost it's luster before it moved.

I answered yes to number one, so I guess number two is irrelavant, huh?

what cracks me up is the people who complained when it was on newsarama that it was nothing but insults and shilling.....
...and yet, when it moved away, people complained that joe was taking the column away from them.

1. I wouldn't have checked it if Nick hadn't started a new thread about it, so yeah.
2. Yeah kind of, since it's being posted like a Myspace blog.

Well I check Newsarama so I'm more likely to see it there. And also, I like Matt Brady as an interviewer more than Jim so far. Some of those Wizard-level jokes are grating.

I haven't enjoyed the past two weeks as much as I enjoyed the Newsarama stuff. I miss Brady asking the questions.
And how much does it suck that issue 121 is the last of Ellis' run on Thunderbolts?
:(

You can pretty much count on someone here posting a thread about it within five minutes of it being published at MySpace, so you don't even really have to worry about remembering to check for it yourself.

It really, really sucks. A lot.
I would be willing to do whatever it takes to prevent this from happening, in fact.

I thought this week's column was much better than last weeks. I dig what they're trying to do with the myspace thing and hope it reaches some people that normally wouldn't see the EIC.
Besides, Newsarama's got Levitz now so they're just fine.

I'm pretty sure that is Warren Ellis's last issue, because he doesn't want to write that book anymore. So I guess the only way to prevent it from happening would be to force him to write more, which probably would not give you the best results.

In all seriousness, I completely understand that, but it's disappointing nonethess. I thought I had read that Ellis wrote the book for his own amusement, which is why I hoped he'd stay on longer.

Is this your way of telling us "off the record" that Joe Quesada really is going to be fired as EIC of Marvel in the next two weeks? :mistrust:

change is good.
I know. It's not a knock so much as I wish the column was synicated so to speak. It could be displayed in multiple places simultaneously instead of just here or there.
What was nice is the all-in-one package I gte by hitting newsarama every friday afternoon. I really look forward to what Joe has to say and it was a good place to get the info!

I'm assuming Cup O Joe can be found on Marvel or Quesada's website?
In all fairness I wasn't reading it at Newsarama either though; no time Dr. Jones.

I don't do the myspace thing, had no idea it was moving. I only check Newsarama once a month anyway though. I get all my comic news here.

Me either, there's TOO much other crap surrounding the stuff I'm interested in. SENSORY OVERLOAD.

I really don't like going to myspace. Ever. It's a real turnoff to me reading it there. And I used to read it every week too.

Well, it's a good thing that the Bendis Board is nothing like that.. not at all.

I never checked Joe Fridays when it was at Newsarama. I just waited for someone to post a link here or at MW. So no change for me.

My best friend keeps pushing me to get a myspace and now that I have to read this every friday I might get it... I am still reluctant to do so, myspace is a place for people who don't know how to make a proper website...
