Randy I was looking at the NAMOR MB, I just bought it, placed in my display on the same day my BLACK KNIGHT MB arrived. I placed them both in my display and the Namor MB looked a little puny next to Dane. Now I took into consideration that Dane is wearing ARMOR and a cape, but still his body type just seems larger than NAMOR which can't be right? He even seems smaller than the FS from the waist up.

Any chance of a REDUX on the Namor MB

A lot of the phase 1 busts are a little bit smaller in scale compared to the phase 2-3 busts.

But I am pleased how Namor came out regardless of scale.

Namor is one of my favorites from phase 1.

I really like the Namor bust. I don't see Randy topping the First one, it looks like Buscema himself came from the heavens and drew it in 3D.
That's why I likes it so much.

the namor bust is one of the best busts ever produced, period.
But I do get your point about the scales being different from phase to phase.
wish it was different but oh well,..close enough.

I am sensitive to scale being accurate, but I'm not sure if I can agree that the scale "in general" has changed from phase1 to the latter phases.

Keep in mind that there was a height requirement that Bowen had to comply with in the MB designs. As a result, the following are noticeable changes:

1. Bases were made larger on the later phases.
2. Characters were sculpted mostly from waist up vs. phase 1 were usually sculpted from mid chest/abdominal area up.

These two factors will definitely give the "illusion" of having a taller MB...or in the Black Knight's case, with the full flowing cape, the tall sword, he does appear "bigger". I agree there are some Mbs here and there that do seem to be "out of scale", but most MBs from phase 1 to the current releases appear to be "in scale".

Just wanted to share my observation and ad to the discussion.:)

All that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing a Namor "action" pose bust. But I was wondering how the bust compares with the statue in scale. Anybody able to comment on this?

Mine too.

Hey Dana, welcome to Jinxworld. What are you doing awake? I've got an appointment today and had to get up at 5:00. I must be addicted to this site . . . I haven't even had a coffee yet!

Hey Grumps!

I have to sneak in 'net time during the work week. School allows me only about 15 - 20 minutes in the morning, and then usually about 45 minutes in the afternoon. Although this week (only this week, due to MCATS) my schedule is different and I get to "play" online now for a bit.

This forum is very enjoyable to be sure!

I hadn't really noticed the scale being out of whack, only noticable one for me I've already pointed out, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the scale Bowen has maintained. It's impressive to me how he has made it almost an exact science.

Taskmaster seems a bit big as well.

I love the Namor MB that's why I just bought it. But he looks small. The sculpt is perfect just small.

TOTALLY Agree need SONGBIRD but first we need a SCREAMING MIMI and a BEETLE and a MOONSTONE the MASTERS OF EVIL

were already getting the full wrecking crew. Make the MASTERS then the T-BOLTS

I love the Namor bust (and FS). No need for a redo, IMO.

I love my Namor MB - its perfect. My only complaint being:- compared to the later phase MB he looks too small, but thats only because the later busts are too darned big!!

I'd go for one if it was with the black suit.:)
