Because Boardmember Choi asked to see it once, here's where I work. I was tempted to straighten things up a little, but chose to remain authentic. A mess.

I even show what I'm drawing today.

I would have thought you'd want more space...to spread out you know.

That pic doesn't really show how big my desk is...there are two TIME magazines there...does that help scale it a little? And that drawing is 24 by 36 inches.

We need to get you a drafting table.

Oh, my wife got me a sandwich from Harris Teeter (a local grocery chain) and brought me home some sort of Snapple Iced Tea. I don't drink Iced Tea usually, but she said, "You'll love this...it's good."

Just because you draw on a table doesn't make it a drawing table. How do you not hunch over a flat surface like that?

It IS a drafting table. It's laid flat.

Aw man, I love me some Iced Tea...

And I've never heard of Harris Teeter... You North Carolinians and your crazy sounding grocery stores...

Yeah, your big ass monitor seems to distort the size perception...

Harris Teeter is a nice grocery store. I think it is modeled after Richmond's (VA) Ukrop's. Ukrop's is the ultimate grocery store.

Also, if you want use some local slang for the store, just call it the "Hairy Peter".

Ethan,

I love Charlotte and North Carolina but...

Why do you live in Charlotte? Are you from the area or did you move there?

Ethan,

I'll tell you why: I honestly don't care where I live. I grew up in South Jersey. Every place other than that is fucking paradise.

I loved Orlando, but our neighborhood was really going downhill, and my wife was partial to something a little more rural. She wanted horses, a house, and nice neighbors. We looked at Charlotte, and it was fine.

For the record, it is snowing in Chicago today. (I should move back to Raleigh)

And with that statement you confirmed that neither of you are native North Carolinians.

No, I was reading that! I really don't use much photo reference. I have a subscription to TIME magazine so I can keep tabs on the commies.

Agreed.

I am so addicted to seeing the workspaces of comic professionals. Is is sad that I think the pinnacle of life is to have a room such as this? (And of course to get paid to draw in it.)

No, that's a drawing for a special friend. A sick child for Make A Wish. I believe in doing what I can.

Just kidding, it's a commission.:D

Besides Wagner, which is agiven. ;)

Rush Limbaugh.

Unless he's tapping on his vials of Oxy-Contin, Limbaugh isn't music!

What music do you listen to?

Music is from the devil. It only leads to dancing, and dancing leads to fornication.

Footloose was a documentary.

If a dude is sleeveless and driving a Beetle while blasting Quiet Riot, he's clearly an agent of Satan.

God created sleeves for a reason.
