Does Any Remember...

Does any one remember reading the Toyfair issue featuring BD? It had photos of all of phase 1 mb and fs and a coming soon of phase 2 features. It was a great issue. Has there been another issue like it after that? And what issue number was it? I wouldn't mind trying to order the back issue.

That was a great issue. It came out just as I was getting into statue and bust collecting and my LCS guy gave me a copy. It provided the perfect reference (though at the time it seemed I would never catch up) and I used to check off the FS and MB's as I acquired them. :) I still have it at home somewhere. I'll post the issue number if I can dig it up.

I don't think there's been another like it since then, but I think it'd be really cool if they put out a new one. Can you imagine how awesome a new volume would be with all the Phase I, II, and III statues and bust as well as the things to come in P IV?:shock::thumb::boogie:

I remember that..i ripped out the article and have it somewhere in storage. I remember trying my hand at sculpting back than , and ripped it out so i could see how a professional did it..i was just getting into the collecting of Bowen than....

no....i tried my hand at doing the punisher back than...didnt take well...i leave it to the pros...

That was a great issue...I notice now in the priceguide section that a small section is focused on statue prices now...it seems each month is on a different line given how limited the space is...I don't think I saw one on Bowen Designs other than the featured issue mentioned.

The issue is number 82 with the Bowen sculpts. Issue 86 contains the Marvel busts and statues by Diamond Select, if anyone is interested.
