Just got the official word a few days ago.

The TPB will be out June 11.

If you are like me and tend to forget these things you can subscribe to the RSS feed on Heavy Ink (http://heavyink.com/search?q=Atomic+Robo#preview).

Just in time for con season :)

Scott, are you and Brian doing any cons this year?

Save me a copy, and I'll pick it up at Paradise Toronto Comicon.

I own the indies, but the trade will look sooooo damn sexy on my bookshelf... so I'm all about it. If I accurately remember my alphamabet it'll sit pretty between my Astonishing X-Men(s) and The Authority(s).

We've already done MegaCon and the Boston ComiCon.

We'll be at PittCon, WW Philly, Paradise Toronto (note to self -GET FUCKING PASSPORT!), ConecctiCon, and maybe Baltimore.

Not sure about Baltimore -its an okay show but too short.

Oh and some big Anime fest in Jersey in June.

As i have recently moved to the "waiting for the trade" movement I am so all over this when it comes out!

I'm right there with you Tommie.

Its funny but I found Powers around the time they moved to ICON so I've got floppies from about issue #50 on, and then the first 8 TPBs.

I haven't reread a single issue but I've always got one or two of the TPBs in the bathroom.

There are only 1 or 2 titles I buy monthly -everything else is Trades.

But since I only get to the comic shop every few months it doesn't really affect my reading habits.

will the trade have any extra stuff in it?

Cover gallery, all the pin ups, all the bonus stories, some concept art and sketches, and allegedly a two page "How He Works" thing on Robo.

And I just decided that WW Philly can go blow, so I won't be there this year.

It should be in April Previews I think.

But we gave you the order code in the first post.

You don't need Previews. :)

Hey you guys doing Ireland this year?

LOL

Dude I'm not going any farther than NYC this year.

Someday maybe we will reach the point where someone starts flying us out to shows -And they I will be all over that.

I would LOVE to do an Ireland show. 99% of my family lives in Southwest Scotland and I haven't seen any of them in years. It would be great to turn a "business trip" into a vacation/family reunion.

Yea well you'd have to get a boat or a plane to Scotland as it's not in Ireland but you definitely should look into doing a tour of both Islands. It would probably be more cost effective then.

You'd love Ireland.

Ireland and Scotland are not on the same hunk of rock? Seriously? :P

DUR LOL

I meant I would catch a boat or something. The last time I was in Scotland I was 16. I'm way overdue, but also under-funded, for a visit.

It will have to be a boat though -my old job made me way too informed about airlines, and that low fare "go anywhere in Western Europe for 40 Euros" outfit you've got is just about one of the most dangerous airlines in the world. Like, Air Afganistan is safer. :D

Dude, all our airlines are like that! But seriously it's 40euros and then about 100euro airport tax so it's only really a gimmick. The boat costs about 50euros all together, but the you need a car or get trains so it's probably as expensive.

Ireland in general is expensive...

Dude, you would be seriously surprised how many Americans DON@T know that!

if i ever go to ireland i must rent a car. i have fantasies about speeding down the roads around Galway racing in the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. those narrow little asphalt roads look like way too much fun. of course i think i would want a car ahead of me woth a radio to let me ahead of time when i would meet an oncoming heavy truck.

Really? I mean, fuck, I'm not Italian but I can show it to you on a map. I can find New Ginnie (even if I can't spell it). Though South America baffles the shit out of me.

We may be dumb Americans but cut us some slack -our own country is large and confusing enough. I mean really; I dare you to point out Nebraska or Wisconsin on a map without having to look it up. They're both about the size of Ireland. :)
