Great episode.
I was laughing way more than I should have been.

I liked how it ended. As soon as it went over to the TV I knew what they were going to do, and I knew it was going to be Hannah Montana.

Let's see:
Invasion of the Body Snatchers, CHECK.
The Lottery, CHECK.
Wicker Man, CHECK.
And I'm sure that's just a few of the obscure horror/thriller references.

I got the Wickerman and Lottery homages, but it didnt stop me from being creeped out by the ending.

I was actually shocked that Cartman ran out, never to be seen again in the episode. I was sure he'd be the one to scream to the media about her head getting blown off.

Yea, I thought Cartman would have at least taken a picture

2 very mediocre episodes in a row. Not a great start.
And again, making a point I find pretty damn shaky.

They ripped off Preacher. [/obligatory]
I enjoyed last week's, but I didn't like this one too much.

Every season they manage to freak me out again and again. That was pretty fucked up, and sort of funny. The third act was not what I was expecting at all, but it worked. Miley Cyrus has to be pretty scared, because it's true. We will harvest her...

It was kind of meh for the most part. The end 5 minutes or so were really creepy though.

It wasn't really that funny and a little too preachy. I'd rather just watch/read The Lottery for a story like that.
The Human Target

It was not good.
The only thing I laughed at was Butters in the Raccoon costume.

Mediocre. Loved Butters, and Cartmen running out never to be seen again. And the high pithced chanting. Other than that, I thought it was pretty weak.

My least favorite one in a while. Now I'll wait for episode 3 to be brilliant and make me forget about two very forgettable episodes so far. To think it was funny, you had to think the "gahhhk, gahwhkkkk" joke was funny since it was about the only thing they had going in it.
Also, praise dah lawd Comedy Central is airing Kenny VS Spenny again.
It was one of the more fucked up epsiodes, but not one of the funniest.
I did enjoy it, and I do now walk around my house going, "ggguuuuhhhlll, ggguuuuhhhlll." (or whatever that noise she made was.)

I don't think that you need to be friends with Britney to think that what's happened to her is really sad and disturbing.

I totally didn't expect it, but yeah, that was the funniest part of the episode.
I didn't think it was that bad though, myself. Not an amazing episode or anything, but I don't see what the big deal is. South Park has been preachy for a while.

Exactly. I was kind of surprised they didn't reference Anna Nicole Smith at some point as a previous sacrifice.

Truth be told though, I think anyone of us would go through what Britney Spears is put through on a daily basis to have millions of dollars sitting in the bank.
