No way.. I just turned 50 and buying BD stuff makes me feel like a kid again. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but my son is starting to get hooked on comics and stuff himself.

Nope but I'm sure one day I'll become interested in something else and the statues will go bye bye. I don't see it happening anytime soon, I've been collecting Bowen for the last 10 years but you never know.

nope...never:)
The question I'm asking myself is "Do you ever run out of room to continue collecting Bowen?" or "Should I put my money elsewhere now that I'm an "adult" and have a son who'll one day want to drive a car, go to college...mainly spend all my money for the next 18-40 years?" :p

Hey Grandpa, how old are you anyway? I'm 55 in April and seem to be the oldest around here unless you are closer to the grave than me!
By the way, "Grumpy" is short for "A Grumpy Ole Fart" cause I don't play well with others, I'm old and I don't always smell so good:lol:

Not yet. I'm 52 and have come to accept that I will never "grow up".
I get such a buzz from seeing these characters captured so well in 3D.

You'll never be too old for Bowen stuff as long as it makes you feel young & nostalgic like a kid that started reading their first comic book.
I'll take my Bowens to the grave w/ me!!

You know, I don't think I've ever noted being too old to collect Bowen statues to be a problem.
There've been times, during some of the online discussions I've seen, where I've wondered if maybe I'm too young to be collecting Bowen, though...

Never too old - we all should have part of our childhood with us until we die - it keeps us going!!

29 soon 30 and I will be buying Bowen stuff as long as its being produced. I am hoping that my new collection room will allow me to keep adding to the collection for years to come (well, new collection room that will be added on to new house once old house sells....).
There are only two things that will make me stop:
1. Bowen stops producing.
2. Bowen stops appreciating the fan base that he has built up over the years.
Hence why I don’t like professional sports all that much......
And I have a sneaking suspicion that #1 would come WAAAAAAAAAYY before #2......

Going to be 55 in June, and still love Frazetta, and Marvel comics. The thing I like the best, is that Bowen Designs does the best statues of the Marvel world, for all of us, young or old. I will collect his stuff as long as I can, Thanks Randy!

Its either collect statues or action figures. Since my son plays with those, statues is all I have left.
