2nd, bigger Charlie-27 looks more like the character & i recognized it immediately. The slimmer version reads as a nondescript powerhouse.

Cool pose on the Vance Astro.

Charlie 27 - is huge like he is supposed to be, but I thought that he had a flat head or something. I could be wrong as I dont have any pics on hand and there are others that are more up to date on the character than myself.

Sauron - LOVE the pose! Though, was there any thought to an opened mouth look?
His eyes look killer in the 2nd pic. Very much a 'I will kick your arse' look to em.

Airwalker - Nothing I can say about this one! Love it. The flames on his back are outstadding...will they be clear cast, or painted?

MODOK - Love the concept of a FS being a bust...or, is it really a FS? Great character to add to the line up!

From what I remember, Charlie 27 wore a mask that covered his head and made it look rounded. Was yellow with a star on it. When he took his mask off, he had a red flattop for hair. I think thats right.

VANCE ASTROVIK: Looks like it came right off of one of Valentino's pages. I'm very glad to see he will be weilding the shield!

CHARLIE 27: The second pic looks more like Charlie. He is a wiiiiiiide man, almost comically so.

MODOK: Nice concept and design. I would like a little bit more on a maniacal look on his face. Otherwise it looks to be the right way to go, especially with the jet flames from underneath.

Seeing a few Guardian sneaks, I'm looking forward to Yondu Starhawk and Nikki! One question would be that since Jim "the animal" Valentino is involved, is there any plans for an Aleta MB or a unmasked Vance variant MB?

Air Walker -> Don't even know what to say but the heralds are turning out to be great, great busts. The attention to detail is clearly evident and fully captures the character. Looks like he 'walked' off the pages of a comic.

I think Charlie 27 needs to have his face squished alittle more since he does come from a high gravity enviroment. I have seen pics where the width of his head was almost as great as the height.

I've always hated that elevated shield pose for Captain America. To me, it's always looked like Cap is saying, "Hey Guys, look at my really cool shield!" But, for Vance Astro, it works, because he can be saying "Hey Guys, look at Captain America's really cool shield that I've got!" At that point in time, Cap's shield has become an icon of almost religious significance, so it can logically be held aloft as a symbol to inspire.

Thats would look really good. I'm a fan of modok and plan on buying this. That preview really shows a difference between the two. I would be happy with that version and don't really see anything that should be changed.

I have a question for you Randy. Is Modok considered a FS or just a really large MB? Considering the fact that as a character he basically is a MB, does this mean that Mojo, who is technically a giant MB as well, will be complete like Modok with his mechanical legs acting as his base? I really hope so. Like Modok, he is just to amazing of a character visually to not make in his entirety.

Hey all.
I usually post over at Oemings board but I heard about the Guardians awhile back and figured I check to see if any info was up about them.
With that said I can see that this set will be the death of me especially if they do any kind of variants.Either way they were the team that got me into comics in the first place and I will have them even if I have to go without food for a month.
