So, i have never really been able to get into the FF, i have tried Ultimate FF, and dont like it, and a few versions from different writers like Mark Waid, but still didnt like it.
Can anybody recomend any good FF books that may change my attitude towards them?
Thanks, Guys.

Possibly John Byrne Visionairies Volume1 also

No. If you don't like Waid you won't like Stan and Jack, I think.

Byrne's run. Don't let what he's become in recent times put you off. It was wonderful.
I'd give Waid's run another shot, too.

I am going to pick up on JMS run too, he's a favourite writer of mine, so it will be cool to see what he does with the book.

I wish I liked FF too, but I just don't. I have the first 2 essential volumes, plus I had a ton of reprints called Marvels Greatest Comics and found them somewhat of a chore to read. However, I do have a lot of Byrne's run in the 200-300 range, and I really like that. Also, issues 197-200 are my favorite story FF ever, I could read them over and over.

Not really, it just isn't in color. But for FF I'd want color.

Did you try Waid's run?
Chances are, if you liked Byrne, you'll like Waid.

THE JMS run starting off has been great, i read it a few times already
I was really happy to hear he was picking up the title and i after reading the first issue i know i'm going to enjoy every issue. Definitely pick up this run, only one issue has come out so far so its a good jumping on point

I liked Stan and Jack, but hated everything Waid did after the Doom arc.

Fantastic Four Visionaries: Jon Byrne Volume 2
Includes the Fantastic Four's battles with their 3 greatest enemies, and and guest starr appearances by Black Panther, the Inhumans, and most major Marvel heroes.
Marvel Visionaries: Jack Kirby Hardcover
Among other things, it includes my favorite Fantastic Four story "The Coming of Galactus" along with its "This Man. This Monster." epilogue.

I don't know that I'd recommend "Unstable Molecules" for someone who's not already a big fan of the four. The book is great, but it relies so heavily on knowledge of canon FF to even understand what the heck this book is about, I'm not sure it would really make sense to anyone outside of that world.

Eh, I'm not sure about that. I love, LOVE Byrne's run, and honestly found Waid's run to be mediocre.
Simonson's stuff would be a better choice. Hell, Loeb's brief run was better than Waid's.

I don't think that's true at all.

I don't think they're actually doing a sequel. I think that was just more of Sturm's blurring of the fiction of the piece. At least, when I met him at the end of last year, he didn't sound like he had any intention of revisiting it.

Yeah you like logic and good storytelling. :D
I'm in the same boat as you Last Man, but I've given up hope of ever liking the Four.
