I would get Nancy Drew. Ebert and Roeper liked it. It might be good family entertainment.

I saw part of it on an airplane and REALLY liked what I saw. I am actually kind of sad I missed it in the theaters. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be as much fun as Veronica Mars. Only hopefully with less rape.
I'm going to invite all my gay friends over and have Nancy Night.

Is there anything on No Country? If not, I'll hold on to my screener until it goes PVT at blockbuster.
I'll check out the Gattaca SE though. For some reason I don't have that movie yet.

I'm buying it, on Blu-Ray to boot! I liked it.
Also, No Country and Sleuth on BD.
And Bee Movie at the Paramount store. Looooove the employee discount.
Sam and Max and Appleseed for me.

Nice preemptive ball-busting stopper, man. I was reading your list thinking, "Nancy Drew? I know the dude like crime fiction, but sheesh."
Also, I'll be buying No Country For Old Men instantly.

Getting Blu-Rays of Gattaca, No Country for Old Men
also Sam & Max Freelance Police Complete Series
Really want Hitman on Blu-Ray for Olga Kurlyenko or whatever her name was. she was crazy stripper hot in that movie and very naked.
Gonna hold off on South Park: The Imaginationland Trilogy until the season box set

Then don't get her Bee Movie unless you want her to stick you in a home thirty years down the pike. Get Sam and Max instead. Kids love hyperkinetic rabbity things with a hazy grasp of the law.

When was Sam and Max a cartoon series? I remember the Lucas Arts video game in the 90s and loved it.

Appleseed Ex Machina
Anyone know if this one is any good?
I have the 1st one, and like it, even it if is a bit slow at times.
Also a big Ghost in the Shell fan, if that helps any.

its a perk of being a studio screenwriter who writes screenplays that never get made.

And Justice For All
Dated, but still a classic. Among the first movies Pacino chipped his teeth on chewing up all that scenery.
No Country For Old Men
Great movie...with an even better soundtrack.

its a perk of being a studio screenwriter who writes screenplays that never get made.
When I first started writing, it was as a screenwriter. I did what a lot of newbs do and pick up all the books on the subject.
I found it funny that some of them mentioned guys that make a nice living constantly churning out scripts that never get made.
I wanna be one of those guys! :)
But I'd imagine you've gotten to the point that a lot of them have - where you stop telling family and friends about them unless something's really, really close to actually happening.
