Spider-Man & Wolverine Team-Up For A Brand New Day!

Spider-Man, Wolverine and Doctor Strange must team up to discover the truth behind a deadly storm engulfing New York City! The fourth month of the top-selling Brand New Day storyline continues thrice monthly beginning in Amazing Spider-Man #555, from the can’t miss team of fan-favorite writer Zeb Wells , acclaimed artist Chris Bachalo (X-Men) and superstar Simone Bianchi providing a special variant cover (also available as a poster)! But when Spider-Man and his New Avengers teammates run afoul of some brand new, mysterious villains, will they have what it takes to get to the bottom of the case? And can Peter Parker catch a break at the DB?

“It's a cold story with a new type of enemy for Spidey,” explained editor Steve Wacker “Between Zeb's unique voice and Chris's always breathtaking and groundbreaking work...this is the month that many fans have been waiting for most and they won't be disappointed.”

Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man, which continues to top the sales charts and generate mainstream media buzz! Just who—or what—is the new threat to NYC? And if the team of Spider-Man & his Avengers Friends aren’t enough to stop it…can anyone?

I'm pretty excited for this arc. Hopefully, we'll figure out what's up with Spidey and the New Avengers, and we've got Bachalo on art.

So, uh...Bendis, how does this jive with New Avengers and the second NA Annual?

Wow. Two responses in and so far no one has starting whining about how overexposed Wolverine is!?

That's got to be a record. I'm sure someone will be along soon to rectify this situation...;)

Eh... Brand New Day started good, but it's tapering off into 'I don't care anymore' territory.

Seriously, the dialog in this issue was so terrible. Did anybody over 10 find it funny? Or enjoy the overdone old-school narration?

I wonder if Wolverine's House of M tampering will come into play with this book. Maybe he realizes that he suddenly forgot Spidey's secret identity and assumes that Wanda's tampering with reality again.

Good point. Grandpa Bendis, what the fuck is a "bunky?"

Old guys love the term "bunky": http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bunky

Only other guy I ever heard use it was Harlan Ellison, who I think is a couple of years younger than Bendis.
