I bet there will be...after the final trade comes out, and then after the hardcover for the 2nd half...so it'll probably be awhile.

I'll just grab the second volume and be done with it. I love the Omnibus program, but the less wrist-breaking books I have to choose from if I can help it, the better.

I'll just grab the second volume and be done with it. I love the Omnibus program, but the less wrist-breaking books I have to choose from if I can help it, the better.

Head breaking too, they are awesome for self defense.

This reminds me...I still need to get the Captain America Omnibus.

I bought that and it was the first I'd read of any of it. I liked quite a bit, and I know lots of people will disagree, but the real star of that book is Frank D'Amarta.

And check yes for me being down for ASX omnibus.

im sure the trades will sell really really well for a long time. thus delaying the publication of a hardcover collection. which would also sell really really well. thus delaying the publication of the omnibus.

It will be a big (cough) clue if we see an Ultimates Omnibus solicited...

For that matter, it will be a big clue if we don't.

the OHC line needs more attention... way too much focus on PHCs and omnibuses at the moment... and too much useless material goes straight to OHC (does the world really need an oversized volume of Onslaught Reborn?). I really can't understand why they published ALL of Back In Black in OHC and yet Brand New Day (which is FAR better suited to the OHC format!) is coming out in silly little hardcovers!

I believe they'd call it the Astonishing X-Men OMNIBUS...and if Marvel can sell them, they'll make them. ;)

Just echoing what everyone else said, there will be a trade for sure, then the second OHC, then somewhere down the line an omnibus collecting the whole thing. For an idea of how long it will take for the omnibus I'd look at upcoming Benids DD volume. That run had the trades, then the OHC, and now the Omnibus is JUST getting ready to come out. So it'll probably happen, but not for awhile.
