Saturday I saw one of the most cliché clichés there is for the first time in person.

I walked out of my mom's house and found a cat stuck in a tree in her front yard. He was nervously hopping back & forth between the lowest branches and trying to screw up the courage to jump down. It wasn't too high, maybe 6 feet from the lowest branch, but just enough. I tried to pick him up and lower him to the ground but he clawed and bit. Superman and firefighters don't have to deal with such abuse in the clichés! As we were pulling out of the driveway to go to dinner, he finally jumped down and all was well. So there's that. I'm hoping to see some one slip on a banana peel next...

i tell my latino friends not to give into the stereotype of getting the pet chihuahua... i kid them but i just hate chihuahua's too.
on the other hand i'm all about the boxer and pitbull which could also be seen as a latino steretype type thing.
