If I'm working in NYC by then it's almost kind of a no-brainer isn't it?

Its my first time at a Con outside Norway(where I live).
Looking forward to visit NY. Never been there before. Going to visit a lot of attractions before the Con. :)
Would be cool if there was a party or something one of the evenings. In Norway the Raptus convention always have a party at the end of the convention, does something like that happen in NY? :blah:

No, we don't do parties after cons here. We all go back to the hotel, eat cheeseburgers, and talk about what being a Born Again Christian means to each of us.
At least, I think that's what happens. I've been to drunk at every convention I've ever gone to, to really remember it clearly.

Cheesburgers are always good. But I am not a christian, I believe in Thor and Odin. Guess that could be a problem.

I think I've already got plans for that Saturday night, but I will try and swing by for a bit and say hi to everybody.

I just sent in my registration for my badge, and I'll probably be sitting with Imperium Comics for at least a day.I still have to figure out what I'm doing as far as lodging.
I may do what I did a few years ago and stay at my aunts and drive in.

Got my approval email today as well. They also wrote that I have to print out this email and that the badge will be printed on site even though I paid for DHL Express delivery of the badge (to a US address). Did anybody get their badge yet or knows more about this? If it's just a generic email and they send out the badge, cool. If everybody has to get the badge at the convention center, I want my money back!
