The betting on who is leaving episode revealed it as Remy Hadley. It was on the ballots Chase was handing out.

Mmm.
True.
But I couldn't really see her character going anywhere not already well trodden. Especially thematically.
Thanks. I totally missed it.
Oh, it's alright.
It was blink and you'll miss it. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a big reveal of it later and it is something completly different with Remy being just never ment to be seen rhubarb placeholder name.

Good episode. I can't believe how long it'd been since there was a new episode, though.
It mentions 3 new episodes in a row (one being tonight's), but there is a special new one on Sunday and then one next Tuesday. Is that it? Or was it referring to three Tuesday episodes? I'm guessing the former since two weeks is probably around the time American Idol will start its one-and-a-half to two-hour Tuesday night performance shows.

I like Cuthroat Bitch on Mad Men.
I liked her when she had her own show (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_Group).

I'm betting two weeks and that's it.

hiding the spoiler from people who might not have realized tonight was a new House:
Cutthroat Bitch is back!
Next week looks fantastic, having her return dating Wilson is genius! Next week is the last new episode though, man that's going to be a shitty place to take a long break.

i'm not a fan, i liked the girl he kept better. cutthroat bitch comes on too strong for me.

Mmm.
I like them both, but they really need to be careful as to how much they push Thirteen's I'm all mysterious button. It could just become grating especially if they just let it fizzle or only half resolve it. At least we know we are supposed to be annoyed by CB.
Also, Anna Dudek is way hotter than Olivia Wilde.

I give her half a series before the divorce and then even then she'll be too buried in like a tick to leave.

yeah, they almost did that to cameron's character, then they brought in the married a terminal guy and it kinda resolved it. i was about to get bored with her right when they filled her in a little. i STILL don't understand the episode where she took that x. they didn't expklain that well enough for me at ALL.

Do you agree that Cameron has to (or should be) slowly be promoted up the hospital ladder over the course of the series to the point of replacing Cuddy?

I can't tell the difference between the new girl, 13, and Cameron. It's like Cameron never left, they are both kind of bland background characters. At least Cutthroat Bitch adds something to the show.

ooh, that's tough. i realy like cuddy ( i kinda want her and house to get together, actually, if only for the two awkward episodes afterwards ). i could see cameron being head of her own department, sort of in a stacy-esque position, but not replacing cuddy. unless lisa edelstein for some reason wanted to leave the show, then it could work.

yeah, i can see that, they're both cute in that same way. i knew they wouldn't drop cutthroat bitch as a character, but i didn't think she went well with his team.

Chase is fun to have around as the go-to surgeon for stuff.
I agree about Cameron, so far. They haven't really found a new niche for her. I think they have her leave the hospital off-camera, and show up later needing House's help on a case somewhere else.

Again, true.
But I wanted a horrible doomed long distance thing between House and Mira Sorvino. Mainly because I want House crying when she ditches him. Then Cuddy can "comfort" him.

I think they're aiming to make life easier for House in the hospital by him have people on the inside all around the place. This is so they can avoid the annoying default of House vs. the hospital thing which has been rather throughly done.

All I want is a single tear.
Just one rolling down the marvelous lines in his face like a waterfall of grief and pain and fear and stuff.

I was watching the Super Bowl pre-game with some others and Hugh Laurie appeared, and we all decided that, in his natural British state, he is much less sexy and much more pleasant than House. Which made me question everything I believe about British people.

Hugh Laurie should play every acting role ever.
Did House solve the unsolvable tonight? Was he curmudgeonly as he did so?
The format and writing of House is formulaic and annoying, that is obvious and goes without saying.
But the acting is good enough to totally deflect you away from that into seizures of joy. It's the Juno effect.
