How do you express panting in comics? I'm drawing a blank here. Gasps?

And if the dude's speaking while out of breath i just insert those into the middle of the sentences? I guess that sounds right...

Doing the bracing yourself on your knees and exhaling with puffed cheeks and wide eyes could do it visually.
Or, for dialogue, "You... could do it... like... this... -huff-"
"Or -hhh- like -hhh- this..."

I like this. The "hhh" is much better than "gasp/wheeze" cause when I'm out of breath it's always a "HHH!" sound. Also, make the balloons kinda cloud-shaped, like a thought balloon with a tail, and broken up with dotted lines instead of a solid line for the whole balloon.
