OH OH I made an amazing discovery today. Y'know how everyone bitches about how Norman and Harry Osbourne's hair looks unrealistic? I finally saw someone who has that wavy line curl thing in real life. Mike Golic, from Mike and Mike on Espn Radio, has exactly Osbourne hair. it is curly but it is also in lines to the back of his head. I can't find a good pic of it online but i swear to you it is.

Chuck Dixon (who wrote pretty much the first 100 issues and the definitive Tim Drake) returns to the character and his supporting cast.

Since I liked some of what Dixon did with Robin, I'll give it a look. It takes a lot to make me care about Robin. Dixon came closest to getting me there.

I know I have the issues and the floppy of FI, and I got the reprint of The end when it came out but I love these stories a lot and cannot recommend them enough if you at all like PAD Hulk. So it would be nice to have them in a nice format that I can lend out and show people.

The good news is that, during the last six months, I've accumulated way fewer books that I'd rather get rid of. My most recent shipment from Heavy Inc was kind of banged up. Not complaining, really, because Free Shipping + Discount = getting what you paid for, but I think I may be ready to switch to DCBS on most of my titles.

From what I can tell:
DCBS - have to pre-order, only one shipment per month (or pay twice the shipping)

I'm trying to keep my comics spending under $50 a month, not counting tpbs, so paying for two shipments a month won't be worth it. Hmm... I wonder, if something's delayed, do they hold the whole shipment? I'm sure it's on their website somewhere...

I can still use Heavy Inc for when I find out about (or remember) titles after pre-orders were due, etc. But this trial month or so of less LCS visits and more or less detaching myself from the Wednesday obligation hasn't been too painful.

So far the only thing I'm not a fan of is that section where they show little snips of the episode and I'm not a fan of that when it comes to any show.
