My last experience getting high was terrible. I smoked too much too fast and it all went downhill pretty quickly. We were watching Flight of the Conchords and I got super sleepy, to the point where the back of my head felt like a ten pound weight. I kept thinking that there was no way I was getting home and that the couch wasn't big enough for me to sleep on. And I kept brushing my tongue over my teeth and thinking that I needed to brush as soon as I got home.

It was fucked up.

What is a Bread Bowl?
A fresh piece of Bread in the shape of a bowl that is sturdy enough to hold soup, curry or chilli, yet soft enough to eat.
What's so special about the Bread Bowl?
Convenient - Microwaves in 40 seconds from frozen

Diverse - Available in 4 flavours: Italian Ciabatta, Mediterranean Herb, Plain, Wholemeal

Versatile - The Bread Bowl can be eaten with any meal occasion - from breakfast, lunch through to dinner

On my own part I think, leaving out the fact that I don't eat much at all and the main constituant of the meal would be enough for me, there'd be too much bread to eat it all. Sure, just a bit of it but i'm thinking (without having tried one) "toooooo much bread"

Again, that's probably my aversion to food volume talking.

There are certain foods I can eat in ridiculous quantities, and others that I can only eat a little. Marc laughs at how much I'll leave behind on the plate, sometimes. I usually can't eat an entire bread bowl, but the kind you get in a restaurant (or make yourself) really don't contain THAT much soup. Usually just enough to make ripping the bowl apart really satisfying.

The one in the picture almost looks like a "cookie bowl", like the ones you get ice cream in, sometimes -- way more soup than bowl.

I'm so sure everyone else is fascinated by my in-depth scrutiny into the delightful world of bread bowls.

Never saw Pushing Tin (at least I don't remember it if I did). And Con Air seems more like a Nic Cage movie than a John Cusack movie. Also, the more I think of it, even the worst of his 80s comedies seem to have rewatchability. "Summer Camp"...wasn;t that one of them? With Bobcat Goldthwait, where he has to race the boat at the end? And what's the one where he has the girlfriend who gets kidnapped and he goes to Jamaica?

yeah he's damn good. Maybe he's busy with Legion. I see the writer is Jason Rubin from Naughty Dog. Interesting.

It's a great title, I love it. A little bit rushed, but I think once he starts up on the next arc it will pace a little bit better. Assuming it starts.

Here's what you look for in a Van Damme movie, and these are the only things they should be judged by:

1. Flying Spin Kick
2. Otherwise decent action scenes, preferably against someone who can actually do some fight choreography
3. Cheesy one-liners
4. Something pretty to look at
5. An at least halfway decent plot to hold a little interest when the above four aren't going on

Stern did a review of one of his movies last year and it was one of the funniest things I've heard. Not to mention that he's sixty pounds overweight but still playing the Elite Special Forces role.

Speaking of commercials: There was one last night during the Giants/Packers game for some beer (Bud Light? Miller? Who the hell knows....) where the beer gave the drinker the ability to converse with animals.

All of a sudden his dog goes "Sausage..Sausage......Sausage..Sausage..Sausage... Sausage..Sausage..Sausage..Sausage..Sausage..Sausa ge.Sausage"
I thought Nicole was going to die laughing.
Then the guy says something to squirrell outside the window and is says "Mind your own business."
Damn funny commercial. Looks like the ones for the SuperBowl will be chock full of talking animals and guys in crazy situations. (As usual)

Tip shamed me into ordering 1000+ more Mylars to get my specialest books out from the boxes and onto my bookshelves. Yeesh! $379 bucks!! And it takes 7 - 10 days for them to even ship 'em out!

But I love my Mylar'ed books. They look great, and I can get at them easy.

I shot who in the what now?!?

(As usual)

That SAUSAGES bit was damn funny and became the most repeated bit for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

I'm still trying to figure this one out: Does saying that you read Watchmen and only thought it was "meh" make you a better comic book fan? I mean, to each their own. Nobody has to like Watchmen (and a lot don't), but don't say you didn't like it and expect some sort of special fandom cookie. That's like me saying I didn't think Citizen Kane was a good movie and expect my opinion about films to be better respected.

Not intentionally. I was just trying to think of a movie that most people regard as "the best" but isn't necessarily liked by everyone.

Although I had fun counting the number of letters of both films to see if I could black out the letters.. unfortunately, there was one left over letter.

I was a little disappointed so far. I'm willing to stick around and see where it all goes, but I was expecting bigger laughs from Slott.I don't know. I think it's the right amount of jokey. I don't want it too much like his She-Hulk stuff.
