So where does everyone see this season heading? Being a Giants fan, I'm hoping Big Blue -- and Eli in particular-- can play like they did against the Bucs and surprise a few more people (I'm also a Jets fan, by the way-- the only sport I root for both NY teams. And in case you're all interested in what other teams I root for: Yankees, Nets and Islanders.)

That being said, and I really, REALLY hate to say this, but it might be looking like a Pats/ Boys bowl-- and since I hate those two teams with a fucking passion, I'd have to slaughter my neighbor's family if that ever did happen. (Well, I'm not gonna slaughter my own family, ya know? That's just plain sick) My only hope is either the Jints or Pack take out Dallas and that Peyton can wipe that smug look off of that scumbag Belicheck's ugly mug

What about the rest of you? Any predictions?

That Giants secondary is still pretty weak. I don't know if they can show up two weeks in a row.

The Jaguars showed they are vulnerable to those short passes which Welker thrives on.

The Colts should walk over the Chargers while Rivers and Tomlinson cry and point fingers.

Hasselback has an injured passing hand and they have no running game. Favre should be able to win that one.

You're right about the Giants secondary-- especially if Madison doesn't play. The one good thing is it doesn't appear that TO is going to play (he's listed as a game day decision)

I agree with all your other picks-- Pats, Colts, Pack

That game day decision seems to be a bit of shenanigans. I can't see him sitting out unless he has a major injury.

I didn't watch the Chargers vs Colts game, but I don't understand how Peyton & Co could lose to the Chargers who lost LT and Rivers. I know the Chargers defense is good, but the offense is hot/cold and without the threat of LT how do you not just dominate.

I'm surprised the Giants beat the Cowboys; that's actually pretty cool.

I'm rooting for Favre though this year. Go Chargers, hope LT comes back. He deserves all the success he receives.

I was shocked the Colts didn't beat the Chargers-- and like you said, especially after LT and Rivers went out.

If the Giants get knocked out, I'll root for the Pack. Outside of the NY teams, they're the only other team I have somewhat of a fondness for, just because of how the town of Green Bay owns the team instead of some douchebag corporation. I always thought that was really cool

I'm not a football fan...but...I just gotta ask...

T.O.'s tears - real, or make-believe??

Back when he was with Philly he struck me as the biggest actor in the world of football, and this latest performance was almost Oscar-worthy...

But wondering what real fans thought of it...

If the Giants defensive line breaks through the way they did against Dallas you won't have to worry about rooting for the Packers.

The Giants made Favre look old and Eli is playing on a higher level. Giants have a shot to upset the way they have been playing but 2 weeks is a long time for Belichick to prepare. Should be fun.

Eli-- who I would've traded for a bag of piss earlier in the season, I hate to admit-- is making a lot of people eat their words. It's very rare you see a guy come into his own like this all in a few weeks time, but that's what's been happening before our very eyes during these playoffs. Let's just hope he doesn't fuck it up now.

I think people had to realize that he's not going to be Peyton and throwing for 380 yards a game. He is a management quarterback. Makes the plays when needed and doesn't cough up the ball.

But I have faith in Eli. I'm sure he'll go back to mid-season form and start coughing up those interceptions. Go Pats!
