So fans seem to be digging this, huh? That's good because I'm having an absolute fucking ball writing it and Jimmy C is producing probably the best work of his career. I figured I'd start a thread for you guys to talk about the book, ask me questions, etc-- and also give me a place to drop some hints about what's coming up. But first...
Since issue 3 came out, I've been asked two questions more than any others:
1) who the hell are those guys at the end
2) Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. And now for something completely different... Spoiler.
To answer #1, you'll find out more about these guys in the upcoming issues. But let me put it this way in the meantime: maybe it's not so important to find out WHO they are, but rather WHAT they are. And more specifically than that, what they mean to Gotham's new underworld scene as a whole.
Now as for Spoiler... well, I can't really say much more about that other than expect some big things out of her-- whoever she may be-- in upcoming issues.
Also in the next couple of issues:
-- we finally are introduced to the mysterious Johnny Stitches. (And I do believe it's an intro that you won't soon be forgetting)
-- we find out what happened to Matches and we find out who-- or what-- is being kept covered up in Blackgate's infirmary
-- we pick up where we left off from iss 3 with Scareface and the boys and these new, mystery characters
-- Tobias Whale finally makes his presence known in the Gotham crime scene
-- Jim Gordon gets a disturbing message
-- the entire issue 5 is told in complete flashback and we find out what's really going on and how exactly we got there
Well, that should tide you kids over for now. Chew on that for a bit and let me know what you think of the series to date
