C.B. - Over on Marvel's forum, I heard that you're going to be writing Wolverine? Is this true? If so, how many issues, and when will they start?
If not true, just forget this... :p

I think he admitted in a Newsarama interview that he will be doing it, and not only that David Finch is going to be drawing it (WOO HOO!) the story follows Wolverine going to Japan seeing just what the hell is going on with the Hand after the Elektra revelations, sounds awesome,

Sounds really interesting. Finch draws a great Wolverine.

Wolverine, as in the current ongoing series? That would be VEERY coool.
Logan going to Japan to see what's happened to the hand after the Elektra reveal? Could this possibly be a Secret Invasion tie-in if indeed CB is working on it.

But now with the Millar/McNiven 8-issue run it may be put off until the end of that.

Excellent! This will finally get me to buy Wolverine for the first time since Rucka left -- right at the moment I'm only getting Wolverine: First Class and occasional one-shots and miniseries. (I don't like what the main series and Origins have been doing to the character or to his backstory at all, so I'm not buying them; but I have faith in you, C.B.)

C.B. I wish I knew about this place long ago. As your biggest DRAIN fan I should be shamed of myself! :lol
No... How about correcting one of the biggest DUMBEST moves Marvel ever made in regards to Wolverine...
Bring back Mariko! I mean, WTF were they thinking?! Going for a slight increase in sales for one month as justification for killing Wolverine's great love is flat out... cannot say it. It's not PC.
Man, I'd kill to write a WHAT IF? mini on that one. You know, I stopped reading Wolverine after that and soon after dropped Marvel titles. It was the first deep wound that drove me away from comic books.
Of course I evetually came back. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. Too over a decade though.
Get Sana to do a Wolverine series. Now THAT would be something.

Oh, I would love to see that also -- though for me the critical Wolvie-damage that's been done has been mainly since House of M and all the really dark, depressing retcons of Logan as mind-controlled into really horrible things, as a basically amoral or immoral person at other times, for most of his history. That's not my Logan, the one who even when he's messed up or crazy can't let himself harm an innocent (cf. Uncanny X-Men #205, "Wounded Wolf," which is practically the archetypal one-issue Logan story), the Logan who struggles to embrace his humanity (and perhaps his healthy "noble savage" animality), while fighting his rages, pursuing his own wandering-ronin path of honor as best he can whatever other people think -- I want that Logan back!
But I was always unhappy that after that great 4-issue initial miniseries which ended with their wedding invitation, that Logan and Mariko didn't marry. They really should have, I always felt, with Logan retiring from the team mostly to live in Japan. There was a What If, but it was one of those tragic-ending ones -- I'd like to see one where they basically lived happily ever after, after some good plot, conflict and resolution of course. (I like the MC-2 universe, where he wound up with Elektra, and the X-Men: The End/GeNext universe, where he wound up with Storm, but still I think we need a world where he and Mariko stay together and no one gets tragically murdered.)
